let go, my love!

Love is what I never got,
You came into my life as light.
That didn't last before you caught,
I cried it like my life is in plight.

Whatever may be, I know,
You are the one for me.
My eyes glittered when it saw,
The heart was in glee.

It all didn't last for long,
As if it's a cue to leave you.
Hurdles came like words in a song,
When my life is all in a screw.

I let you go,
Before I could make a move.
I don't wanna drag you into my row,
Yet another life is all I wish to prove.

Love is what you taught,
I would like to keep it in me forever.
Hearts are in Fought,
So as our togetherness is in never.

I wish you get love,
One always adore you
Not like me who shove,
Unless you better knew.

Painful is letting you go,
But still, hope is what I live for.
All I see is your happy face in the glow,
At last, my life is like a closed door.

Let me go,
I will never be back.
I feel so low,
Cause, my Life, is a big smack!

P.S. This is the first poem I have written here in Wattpad for the theme - Let go! And I have taken the situation as

- 'a lover letting goes of her love for the sake of his betterment as she pours her heart out through this poem behind the bars when her love doesn't know she is facing a life sentence! Which she was undergoing for killing her own abusive father for her mother's happiness!
