the Poets Pub is a special place

we know no religion, colour or race

age and gender matter not

a universal language is what we sought

for in words we find a union strong

no discrimination, a special bond

for we view the world in a special way

our visions but a lyrical buffet

we come together, of different tastes

all fears and nervousness erased

to mentor and learn, to listen and think

to share our poetry, to share a drink

we welcome all, for we are one

a love of poetry is why we come

for five years we've graced these walls

five years from now I hope we are still one and all

Thank you to each and every one of you that have made this wonderful place the place that it is.

I may have created the Poets Pub, but it has always been the amazing Poets that have made this place what it is.

Myna you are an angel. You are and will always be, the heart and soul of the Pub.

Lyttlejoe ... our first legendary Pubber. You make the Pub a home.

I wish I could thank you all individually, but that would be impossible.

But I would like to say that I consider each and every one of you a friend, and even more so, Family.
