"Get him off my lawn!" Mr. Lee exclaims the moment Yuta stepped inside the gate.

"Dad, calm down." Haechan calls out. "He's not gonna bite."

"I don't care! He's the reason your sister had to experience this."

"Dad, chill." Yeseul walked to the door, pulling Yuta with her. "And put down that broom."

"What's going on?" Mrs. Lee asked but dropped her book the moment she saw Yuta. "What in the world—"

"Mom, before you scream, Dad already gave us an earful so I don't think that's gonna help. Now can we please handle this nicely?"

The family and Yuta all walked inside the room. They were all seated on the couch except for Yuta who was on the floor.

"Okay, young man. Speak." Mr. Lee says, wearing his glasses. "If we don't like your answer, you might as well wished you hadn't step inside."

A dog suddenly barked but Mrs. Lee hushed it down, "Not now, Geon."

Yuta gulped, looking at Yeseul. "Maybe I should just write a letter—?"

"No." Yeseul faces her parents. "Will you please just listen to him?"

Mrs. Lee scoffed, "Fine then."

Yuta closed his eyes and took a deep breath before speaking. He looked at Mr. and Mrs. Lee who was sitting between Haechan and Yeseul.

"I know Yeseul really got hurt when she was with me and for that, I truly want to apologize. I broke my promise to you to keep her safe. I'm sorry but you should also know, that I love Yeseul with all my heart. I want to be by her side while she chases her dreams. I want to grow old together with her. Just her. Mr. and Mrs. Lee— I want no one else except for your daughter." Yuta kneels down, shocking all four of them. His head was on the ground. "If you still won't accept my apology, I'm willing to comply and make ends meet to compensate for my mistake. I will do everything you ask of me if it means getting on your good side again. Whatever it takes, as long as you allow me to be a part of Yeseul's life again. Because I already lost her once and I promised myself I will never let her go again."

Yeseul started to tear up hearing Yuta's words. She knew how much he loved her but she didn't expect that Yuta would sacrifice so much just to be with her again.

Haechan leans in, "Dad, he's already bowing. What else do you want him to do?"

Mr. Lee stands up, raising an eyebrow, "Anything, you say?"

"What happened to you?" Johnny asked, meeting Yuta at the club room.

He had bags under his eyes and his hair was slightly a mess.

Taeyong chuckles, "Yeseul's dad probably let him stay up all night again."

Yuta glared at him, "I had to retype all of his documents for his meeting today."

"Its been two months. Haven't they forgiven you yet?"

"Mrs. Lee actually started warming up to me again after three weeks." Yuta says.

Johnny wears his shoes, "Her dad's probably just teasing you."

Before Yuta could answer, Doyoung opens the door. He was panting. "Hyung, in the... in the rooftop... its... its Yeseul..."

The three of them looked at each other as Yuta dashed towards the rooftop. He had nothing on his mind right now except for her. If something happens—

"Yeseul—!" Yuta exclaims, opening the door of the rooftop but instead of finding Yeseul, the place had decorations and it was full of their pictures.

The wall was surrounded by him and Yeseul's memories. It was all the pictures they took during their three years together.

There were even pictures of candid shots their friends took.

Yuta walked around the rooftop and on the table, where both of them loved to eat, was a small box with a letter.

He opened the box first. It was a heart shaped necklaced engraved with their initials. Yuta's heart started to feel all tingly as puts the necklace back in the box.

He opened the letter next.

Hey baby. Happy birthday! Do you like my surprise? I'm sorry I haven't been the perfect girlfriend. I'm sorry for not being able to realize sooner that I was with the wrong guy. I'm sorry for everything. I hope now that everything's a bit calmer, we can start again. This time— happier and contented. Because now I know that no matter what happens, we love each other too much to let the other one go. Yuta, you've become my past, present and now my future. I want you and I will keep choosing you in this lifetime, and in the next. Thank you for staying by my side and for coming into my life. Let's stay together forever, my takoyaki prince.

Yuta's tear continues to fall down as he finishes reading the letter.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you~"

He turns around and saw the soccer club and the dreamies singing him a happy birthday song. And in the middle of all that, Yeseul was standing, holding a birthday cake.

"Happy birthday, Yuta." She raises it, "Time to make a wish."

Yuta closes his eyes and blows the candle. Taeil took the cake from Yeseul because he knows what will happen next.

Yuta met Yeseul's eyes. "I can't believe you did all this."

"Well, the guys helped—"

Yeseul wasn't able to finish her sentence when Yuta pulled her into a hug.

"I knew it." Taeil whispers, putting the cake on the table.

"Thank you so much." Yuta whispers in her ear.

Yeseul melted into the hug, "I just want you to be happy."

"I am now." Yuta says, hugging her tighter.

The boys all clapped their hands as they witness the scene.

"It's time to party!!!!" Lucas exclaims, making the others laugh at him.
