The next day I woke up and got ready to go get the background check on Luke. I didn't remember falling asleep at Jasmines house but I guess I did. I shook her and her eyes opened slightly "I'm leaving I'll text you later" I tell her and she just nods and turns over and falls asleep again. I walk to my car but I find a white piece of paper on my windshield. I raise my eyebrows thinking maybe its some prank from Hannah and Jasmine and open it with a smile but the smile quickly fades once I read the note. The note in big red letters said the words very vividly "WATCH WHO YOU TRUST." Suddenly I hear a rustling in the bushes behind me I turn around but the rustling stops. The hair on the back of my neck stands up and I feel as if I'm being watched. I quickly get in the car and pull out of the driveway with the words from the note circling my head and many questions who could've left it there? Was it a prank? Could it be Luke? I shook the last question out of my head I was just being paranoid and Luke was nice and kind. I pull into my driveway when my phone beeps. I open it and its an text from Luke I smile and read the message
Luke
I had fun with you yesterday wish it could've been longer tho
Yea me to can I make it up to you maybe next week?
Sure I would Like that just text me when and where
I smile and put my phone back in my purse and go inside closing and locking the door behind me totally forgetting about getting an background check.
Random pov:
I watch as she puts her phone in her purse smiling soon she would be mine and only mine in time no one would have her except me.
