Ginny came bounding into the great hall, a happy smile on her face as she reached the Griffindor table. Boys hungry eyes trailed over her long, slim legs as she glided down the isle.
"Bloody hell, Gin, pull your skirt down!" Growled Ron, as he elbowed the boys either side of him; a drooling Dean and open mouthed Harry.
"Hush Ron. Ginny can wear whatever she likes." Hermione defended, as Ginny sat down beside her.
"Thanks, Mione. Girls shouldn't have to cover up because some hormonal boys can't control themselves." She said, spooning some yogurt into her bowl.
"Gin, you're my sister- it's my job to look after you. You can see everything in that skirt, and your top- bloody hell! Put some clothes on!" He huffed.
"Bite me." She said, turning her attention back to her breakfast.
Sensing a pair of eyes on her, she looked up to see Dean still watching her- as if he had never seen a woman. Smirking to herself, she scooped up some of her yogurt on her finger, and slowly brought it up to her lips. She watched, amused, as he dropped his toast, mid bite, as she teasingly sucked the dairy from her finger.
As Ron began to turn red with anger, Ginny peaked over Deans shoulder and noticed another boy staring at her. On the Slytherin table, Ginny recognised the grey-silver eyes straight away, and plucked her finger from her mouth in surprise.
There, staring at her, was Draco Malfoy, the school bad-boy and bully. A hunger Ginny had never seen swirled in the icy orbs, dividing Ginny into interest and confusion.
Licking her lips clean, they held eye contact for a moment, before Ron's face filled her vision.
"Gin- please. Just stop flirting with my friends." He said, desperately.
"Fine." She sighed, "you're no fun. Taking away my toys." She said in a baby like voice.
"Gin- guys aren't toys. Just wait till you become 17 and pregnant- see how much you like your toys then." Hermione whispered.
"It's just a joke." Ginny chuckled, "chill."
Glancing back over towards the Slytherin table, she noticed those grey eyes were no where to be seen.
Weird. She thought.
"Ginny!?" Yelled a voice from the hall doors.
It seemed the whole of the room turned to see Michael Corner, running through the doors.
"Shit! I'm not here." She whispered, sliding under the bench.
"Gina?!" He called, running down the bench to stand where Ginny sat, "Have you guys seen Gina?" He asked.
Hermione sighed, and snuck a small glance to the empty space besides her, "Sorry, Michael, but I haven't seen Ginny all day."
"But- I wrote her a poem so she'll take me back- she's my Gina." He whined.
"Sorry Michael, but I haven't seen Ginny all day." Harry said, but took a quick gasp of breath, as he felt Ginny's back against his legs.
Hearing his gasp, she chuckled lightly, and inched her fingers under his trouser, and up his calf.
"Oh, okay... if you see her, can you tell her my heart belongs to her." He said, before walking out the great hall.
Ron kicked her lightly, as she rose to the table.
"Thanks guys that was a close one." She said, as the bell chimed- announcing first period was beginning.
"Nice legs, Harry." She smirked, grabbing an apple, and striding out of the hall.
As she left the hall, her friend, Maddy, looped her arm in hers.
"Hey, boo, ready for Potions?" She asked, as they strutted through the halls.
"As I'll ever be." Ginny replied, "Where were you at breakfast?"
"Unlike you, I actually need to study my ass off to get a pass in my subjects." She said, nodding to the pile of books in her bag, "Getting some more of these bad boys." She said.
"I don't think you can deal with a real bad boy." Smirked a cocky voice from the corner.
Blaise Zabini walked alongside them, his 6'4 figure towering over Maddy's 5'6 frame.
"If you're talking about yourself- I'll pass." Maddy answered.
"Come on, Madeline, you know you want some of this." He said, gesturing to his body.
"Please, Zabini, she has standards." Smirked Ginny, as they walked towards the Potions room. "Don't you have a class to get to?"
"Free period. Where are you to off to?"
"Potions with Slughorn." Madeline replied. "And no-one calls me Madeline."
"Well, get used to it- I am planing to see a lot more of you." He smiled, kissing her hand. "Good luck against Ravenclaw, Red- We'll be cheering for you." He said, referring to the upcoming game against Griffindor and Ravenclaw.
"We?" Ginny asked, as they stopped outside the Potions door.
"Yeah- me and the boys. You're the hottest flyer up there- and the only one who actually has skills." He said, before winking at Maddy, and leaving.
"Looks like you have an admirer." Ginny whispered, as they entered the room.
Taking a seat at the front, Maddy rolled her eyes.
"Mad, I'm serious. Zabini has never shown a girl that amount of attention." Ginny said, as Maddy took out her books.
"Exactly- he's just trying to mess with me. It's nothing. Anyway, did you not hear what he said? His friends- the fittest, hottest boys in the school like you." She said, as Slughorn entered.
"Please turn to page 148 in your books and read from lines 12 to 53." He said, taking a seat at the front.
"It's Slytherin we are talking about. Do you actually believe that?"
"Okay... fine." She smiled, opening her book.
"We've never let boys mess with us- we're not starting now."
"Miss Weasley. Where is your book?" Slughorn asked, eyeing her empty table.
"Sorry, sir." She said, getting her book out and flicking it open to page 148.
Maddy snickered as Ginny scowled at her, turning to listen to Professor Slughorn's lecture.
Her thoughts drifted back to those silver eyes. It was if she could see into his soul- his curiosity, his admiration, his... love? Did he like her? No- she was a Weasley. A blood traitor. A Griffindor. The exact opposite of Draco's type. Why was Draco Malfoy staring at her?
