Draco and Blaise walked out of the changing rooms with their quidditch robes grazing the floor, as they walked to the quidditch pitch. The best players of the school had been selected to play against the other seven magical schools. So far, all the two knew was they they were the only Slytherins on the team- no one had said who else was on the team.

As they quickened their pace, reaching the quidditch pitch, they looked over the new team. The Ravenclaw captain and chaser, Roger Davies, stood alone, waiting for the teachers to give their speech. Draco remembered how he was the only Ravenclaw that managed to score against his team. The beaters; Maxine O'Flaherty, a strongly built Hufflepuff girl in his year, and Jackson Samuels, a short Ravenclaw with thick muscles, stood to the side, doing cool tricks with their bats.

In the keepers uniform, Ron Weasley stood, talking to his sister, Ginny, the star chaser. All of them wore the Hogwarts quidditch robes, and impatient to be up in the air.

Calling the children, they stood in a line while McGonagall and Hooch stood in front of them.

"You seven have been chosen to represent the school- we've made sure that we have a student from every house to represent Hogwarts fully." McGonagall spoke, "if any of you abuse your rights and are heard gloating about your position, you shall be clicked of the team immediately. Is that understood?"

The whole team nodded their heads.

"Good." She said, as Hooch stepped forward.

"You have all been chosen because you are the best," she bellowed, walking in front of the students, "so I expect your best in our training. Anyone who slacks off shall be kicked off the team. And if you are late you shall make up the time or you'll be kicked off the team."

The children took a huge gulp.

"Right. All of your house rivalry means nothing on the pitch. If you do not respect your teammates you shall not be a part of the team. Is that clear?" She asked, as the children nodded their heads.

"Good. You shall know your team in your own time." Hooch said, as McGonagall nodded and walked away.

The training consisted of much flying and exhausting drills. The children were surprised as to how strong the other was, each excited to work with a higher level of players. By the time they had finished, each player was caked in sweat.

They walked down to the changing rooms together, chatting quietly amongst themselves.

"Does anyone know which school will we play first?" Asked Maxine, as she dragged her broom and bat in the grass.

"Beauxbatons Academy." Answered Rodger.

"An easy win." Snickered Blaise.

"Why do you say that?" Questioned Ginny.

"Well- it is a witch only school." Said Ron, in a 'duh' tone.

"So witches can't play quidditch?" Asked Maxine, as the two girls stood besides each other, coming to a stop.

"No. It's just, they'll be drooling over these babys." Jackson smirked, flexing his biceps.

"Oh Merlin." Moaned Ginny, as the girls rolled their eyes and walked off to the changing rooms, leaving the boys to compare their muscles.
