Thank you for all the love guys 💗 it means the world to me xx

Ginny and Maddy sat in the courtyard, talking quietly. They had a free period, so they decided to catch some of the last rays of sun.

"I wish it could be this sunny every day." Sighed Maddy, as she lay down on the grass. Small patches of daisies were scattered about the greenery, enticing bees to collect their sweet pollen.

"Tell me about it." Said Ginny, as she lay beside her, resting her eyes, and splaying her arms out, absorbing the sun.

"Do you ever feel single as fuck?" Maddy asked, out of the blue.

Ginny sat up, abruptly, and looked over her, confused as to the random question.

"Why do you ask?" She asked, not answering the question.

"Just thinking. Now, answer the question." Maddy laughed lightly, still keeping her eyes closed.

Looking at her, peculiarly, Ginny shrugged and lay down once more, closing her eyes. Sure she often craved for that special someone to hold her close- to always be by her side, but knowing boys wanted her cause she was hot gave her trust issues.

Michael may have been the reason to that.

Now she only messed with them- not believing any of them had a heart, nor cared. But someone had gave her doubts about men being soulless, sex driven dogs. And she wasn't sure as to how she felt about that.

"Well, I suppose. But at the end of the day boys are boys, and only have one thing on their mind."

"Well, that's not true." Said Maddy, picking one of the daisies from the grass and began to pluck each petal off, "every one wants to be loved."

As Ginny pondered on her friends words, she realised what she said was true. Ginny never took boys seriously and teased them because she was waiting for someone to surprise her, and prove her theory wrong.

"I suppose." She said, her eyes staring up at the blue sky, "but I'm not sure who could handle me."

Feeling someone blocking her sunlight from behind her, she arched her head back to see Blaise Zabini and Draco Malfoy standing over her.

"Hey- your in my light." She moaned, as Blaise smirked and sat besides Maddy, while Draco leant back on the stone ledge, and watched Ginny as she closed her eyes once more.

"Who can't handle you Red?" Asked Blaise, as he lay next to Maddy and twirled her hair in his finger.

Recently, the pair had gotten closer, and the four had seen a lot more of each other.

"Aren't you nosy." Ginny sighed as she ignored him.

"Men." Said Maddy sitting up, smirking, making Ginny sit upright, a look of betrayal on her face.

"Thanks Mad." She said, angrily, as Draco sat down, in between Ginny and Blaise.

"They shouldn't need to handle you- just accept you." Draco said, "You'd be surprised if you just let someone in."

"When did you get so smart and in touch with your feelings Malfoy?" Smirked Maddy, as Ginny just stared at him, observing his perfect face.

"Surprised?" He asked, smirking as he gave Ginny a small glance.

"If you were in our year, you would know how smart he can be- when he wants." Said Blaise, sitting up.

"Who would have known Malfoy to be a book worm." Ginny smirked, making Draco frown.

"Actually, I was born intelligent." He said, smugly.

"Same with Ginny." Said Maddy, causing the blonde and red head to stare at each other.

"Dead annoying, right?" Asked Blaise to a nodding Maddy.

"Tell me about it." She moaned.

After a while, the two fell into a deep discussion, while Ginny finally broke her gaze she had with the blonde. Looking towards her friend, she realised her and Blaise were flirting a lot. And very boldly.

"Eiw." She said, as she stood up, "That's gross." Turning to Draco she raised a brow, "unless you want to be that awkward, creepy third wheel by all means."

With a flash of a second, Draco was up, leaving the two love birds to themselves.

They walked out of the courtyard in complete silence, as they began the long walk around the school. The two snuck glances at the other, as they walked along the grass that encased the school. Soon, Ginny broke the silence.

"Thank you for the help with Michael." She said, as they passed the huge greenhouse.

"Your welcome." He replied, "he didn't deserve you."

Smiling, his eyes lingered on her red locks. How is this girl so god damn beautiful? He thought.

"But why?" She asked, turning to look into his silver orbs.

"Why what?" He asked, confused.

"Why bother to stop him? Why go out of your way to help me?" She questioned, as they stopped walking.

"Because I know how a witch should be treated. And that wasn't it.' He said, simply, as he began to walk again.

Following him, Ginny stopped in-front of him, getting his full attention.

"No." She said, crossing her arms.

"No what?" He asked, annoyed.

"That's not an answer." She scowled, "why did you help me? A blood traitor Weasley. Surely I would be the last person you'd ever help."

"I dunno, okay?" He lied, walking again, "Is it that hard to think of me as someone who cares?"

"About me- yeah." She fired, determined to get an answer.

"Listen," he sighed, turning to face her, "just drop it... you won't like the answer."

"If it's cause you think you'll look more macho and it's just a way to get in my pants," she began, as Draco's face turned into a frown, "then I've heard it all before."

"No!" He exclaimed, "I don't waste my time with girls and when I do I don't do something that petty."

"Then why me?" She questioned.

"Because you're not like all the other girls!" He cried, before turning beet red.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Sighing, he knew he had to tell her.

"You enchant me. You always have. Seeing him treat you like that made me snap." He said, as Ginny stood, mouth agape.

"So... you like... me?" She asked, disbelievingly.

"Yes." He whispered.

Ginny observed every inch of his face, trying to detect any hint of dishonesty. After looking into his stormy silver eyes, and seing nothing but respect and admiration, she inched closer to him.

"But you're a Malfoy." She whispered, still trying to understand, making Ginny smile.

"And you're a Weasley, and yet I still think about you all the time."

She stood still for a second, deciding if she could take the leap of faith or keep it safe.

"We'd have to keep it quiet." She breathed, now standing so close she could hear his irregular heart beat.

"No one could know." He replied, leaning down to her 5'9 height, 4 inches smaller than himself.

"Can I still play with my toys?" She asked, as their lips were about to touch.

"I'd be incredibly jealous, so I may have to break a few of them." He smirked, "just to be make sure I couldn't lose you."

"I don't think you can." She smiled, before brushing her lips against his.
