I'm sorry it took so long!!

"I don't get her, man. She says we can't be together, but yet allows me to kiss her." Sighed Draco, as they walked out of the Slytherin common room, and headed towards the quidditch pitch.

"I see where you are coming from, but you must understand her hesitation." Blaise spoke, "You two are from two different worlds- have been taught to hate each other from the very start. You must see where she is coming from."

Sighing, Draco nodded.

"I have never liked a girl like I do Ginny." He said, sadly.

"And make sure she knows it." Advised Blaise, "She'll come round at some point. Just give her time."

Sighing, Draco nodded, as they walked through the school.

"How's things going with Maddy?" Draco asked, as Blaise smiled.

"Amazing. We are like the same person." He replied, "I think I'm going to ask her out to Hogsmade."

Patting his back, Draco congratulated him, as they reached the team.

"Hey, guys. Ready for Tomorrow?" Blaise asked, as they walked up to the pitch.

"As we'll ever be." Answered Maxine, as she swung her beaters bat, causing Ron to drop to the floor.

"Watch it!" He cried, as she simply shrugged.

"Hey! Stop fooling around. We are going to win this tournament, so I need all your heads in the game." Instructed Ginny, as she gathered the team around in a huddle.

Nodding and apologising, the team gathered, serious, determined expressions painted
their face.

"I want our usual warm up, but absolutely no messing around. Got it?" She yelled, as the team nodded, and started their training.

A few hours into the training, Ginny felt a pair of eyes on her back, every second she was turned. Trying to find the person, she turned. Seeing Draco gazing up to her- his silver eyes burning unto hers.

Before she became swallowed into his intense stare, she managed to tear her eyes from his, and focus on her team.

The seven played brilliantly, all on their top game- Madame Hooch was so impressed, she invited some of the other professors to watch the school's team play.

As the snitch got caught in Draco's pale handed grasp, the players slowed to a stop, and regrouped outside the changing rooms.

"Guys, the next time we step on that field it will be against Beauxbatons." Spoke Ginny to the sweaty teenagers, "and I know Hooch said I can pick my co, but I didn't want it to be bias, so I think we should all vote." She smiled, as they all nodded.

Grabbing one of her note books, Ginny pulled out a page and ripped it into seven little pieces, handing one to every member of the team.

Closing their eyes, they thought of the person they wanted as co captain, and slid their thumb over the paper, as the name appeared.

Handing them all back to Ginny, she read them out.

"Max." Ginny smiled, unfolding one of them, "Blaise." She said, revealing another. "Ron." "Jack." "Draco" "Draco." "Draco."

Feeling her face flush, Ginny peered over to the sweaty wizard, who stood beaming.

"Congratulations." She spoke, as the team congratulated him.

Gradually, one by one, the players entered the changing rooms till the two were left alone.

"I can turn down the co captaincy if you want." He said softly, as Ginny shook her head.

"Don't be silly. You earned it." She smiled, as they inched closer.

"I look forward to working with you. I won't let you down." He said, as his breath fanned her face.

"I- I..." she began, but struggled to find her words.

"I'll never let you down." He whispered, as he retreated back to the changing room, leaving Ginny alone.

"You should just be with him." Came a voice from behind her.

Spinning around, Ginny saw Blaise and Maddy watching her, intently. Maddy wore a small smile, while blaise had his arms crossed- his face one of stone.

"What are you guys doing here?" Ginny asked, trying to change the subject.

"I think the question is what are you doing?" Asked Maddy, walking towards her friend.

"What?"

"I've known Draco for years. He has never been so interested in a girl as he is you." Blaise spoke.

"And I've known you long enough to know when you actually like someone." Maddy added, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"But... what.. what if he turns out... like Michael? And what will my family think?" Ginny whispered.

"Draco would never hurt you." Assured Maddy, rubbing her other shoulder. "And it's about who you like- not your family."

"But... his parents-"

"His parents have nothing to do with it." Blaise spoke, sharply.

"What do you mean?" Ginny asked, senescing his defensive tone.

Shaking his head, Blaise stepped away and neared the changing rooms.

"It's not my place to say. All I know is that you mean a lot to him. Please be as brave as he is."

As the door closed behind him, Ginny turned to Maddy and sighed.

"You two would look so good together- like the power couple of the school." She smiled.

"Thanks Mad. I like him- I truly do, but it's going to take a while for me to be with someone after Michael."

Nodding, Maddy hugged Ginny.

"Draco is not Michael. He loves you. Just let him." She said, "now get changed- you stink." She chuckled, pushing Ginny into the changing room.
