"Alright, I want 10 laps of the field." Harry, Griffindors Quidditch Captain, said.

His team began to pick up their brooms, when he shook his head.

"On the ground." He established, "Ginny?" Looking over to his Vice Captain who nodded, and led the team around the pitch.

For the first two laps, the team could keep up, but after the second, a wide gap formed behind Ginny. As she finished her run and stood next to Harry, she noticed the rest of the team had just started their last one. Glancing at Harry, who nodded at her, she jogged over to them and began to yell words of enthusiasm.

"Come on! You can do it!" She yelled.

"Push yourself! Don't stop and walk- Ron!" She yelled as she got to his side.

He was drenched in sweat, and his face had turned a dark red. His weak legs burning from all the exercise.

"Come on Ron! Don't you dare stop!" She yelled in his ear.

"I can't do it!" He breathed, his pace close to one of walking.

"Yes you can! Look- you have half a lap left- don't stop now." She said, sternly.

"Why must we go on a run? Don't we have brooms for a reason?" He complained.

"It's good for you." She answered, however, Ron didn't think that was a good enough answer.

His pace slowed to a stop.

"Ronald Billius Weasley!" She roared, her famous Weasley temper flaring- reminding Ron of his angry mother.

That was enough to get him moving and soon he was at the front of the group.

As Ginny flanked the group, she noticed a blonde haired, pale skinned boy in the stands. Observing more closely, she noticed those silver eyes. Draco Malfoy had come to watch the Griffindor practice- and to top it off, he was staring at her.

Raising a brow, Ginny's curiosity began to peck at her once more. 'Why is he always staring at me?' She thought.

Turning her attention back to her team, she smiled as they finished their laps.

"Well done guys, that was great.  Now the same again, but in the air. Ginny, can I speak to you for a minute?" Harry announced, as the team flew off on their brooms while Ginny walked up to Harry.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Listen, Gin, you're a great chaser and as we are having a quidditch tournament against the other schools, McGonagall asked me to ask if you could play for the school?" He asked.

"I'd love to! You're doing it to, right?" She asked.

"No. McGonagall got Malfoy to play seeker." He said, smearing his name.

"Oh." She said, glancing back up to the stands. "We're probably going to lose now." She laughed lightly.

However, what she said was a lie- and she knew it.

Draco Malfoy's performance, as seeker, was the best in the school. When Griffindor played against Slytherin, Ginny knew herself and the rest of her chasers would have to work extra hard to get points, for Draco always caught the snitch. The last game against Slytherin, ended in a tie- due to the vast amount of points Griffindor scored before Draco caught the snitch. Ginny felt curious but excited to play alongside him- rather than against him.

Harry laughed along with her, inching closer to the red head besides him, as his team flew past them.

"Listen, Gin- your like really hot and pretty and a great gal- so... eh... I was wondering if you'd... I don't know... like to go out... on a date?... with me?" He asked.
