"PLEAAAASSSSE!" Hinata was on the ground, pulling on Saiki's leg while begging endlessly for a re-match or at least one single-serve from the pink-haired child, who didn't seem to be enjoying this in the slightest, as he tried to kick off the ginger from his leg, also keeping in mind, not to use too much power, or it'd hurt him.
"No, now leave me alone," he complained, as Hinata cried as he begged and wrapped his arms around both of Saiki's legs, completely restricting his movements, unless Hinata gets off of him, or Saiki forces him off. Saiki wasn't really much for volleyball, and if people were always like this from opposing teams (Not like his team was less clingy than this ginger) he would leave, almost immediately.
Until his mother found out and forced him back into the games.
Hinata ended up being dragged across the city, on his stomach, and would latch onto Saiki's waist when on the train station, making him just as annoying, as he is desperate. It was also equally as embarrassing, as a few people would point him out, and call them a cute couple. Not understanding the fact, that he wasn't dating the ginger, rather than the boy would just constantly beg Saiki to serve him a ball or two, or three.
Saiki walked home, Hinata still crying.
"Oh! It's Cyborg Ciderman Version Two." Saiki tensed up, he couldn't hurt someone in front of a kid, that would just be digging his own grave by the time he got home.
Hinata looked over to Yuuta who jumped happily in front of Saiki, he was so close to home, so close to being left alone, only to be ruined by a Ciderman fanatic. Hinata perked up and stood up, and jumped happily around Yuuta.
"I like Cyborg Ciderman too!"
"Version two?" Yuuta asked, happily bouncing on the balls of his feet, as he saw how high Hinata could jump.
Saiki paused for a second and wondered why Yuuta was even out at this time of night, it was dangerous, but it was also dangerous to piss off a person that could kill you, but they didn't know that.
"Version two is even better than One, Three, Four, and Six!" he jumped.
"What happened to version five?" Saiki asked, both small and equally childish boys, slowly turned to him, like it was the rudest question in the world.
"We..." Hinata said, whispering, and covered Yuuta's ears, "We don't talk about that." he let go of Yuuta's ears, making Saiki question even further what the hell happened to version five, was it like the iPhone 9?
"Did you know he can jump, super high?" Yuuta pointed out, making Saiki freeze, and Hinata turn to him, "He can jump higher than the sky!" Yuuta said, though it wasn't a lie, the kid can obviously point out his psychic powers, and with a knucklehead like Hinata, he would believe him almost instantly.
"Wow!" Hinata awed to Saiki, "Really?" he asked and began to jump all over the place like Saiki was supposed to jump with him, "Can you please?" he begged, but when shut down the first time, he didn't mind getting back up (Saiki respected him for that) but Saiki would always tell him no, or to go home, or to leave him alone.
"Please?" now both Yuuta and Hinata were begging, and it was far past either's bedtime, Saiki rolled his eyes and sighed, and just nodded, as Hinata squealed and stepped back, both watching with stary eyes, while Saiki put his bag to the side, slightly bending his knees, and leaping into the air, up to four feet in the air.
Hinata clocked his head sideways, it wasn't something to pride himself over, but it was o.k. When Saiki heard Hinata's thoughts and Yuuta complaining, he felt like he should have done it again, and Hinata would leave after that and feel intimidated.
Saiki sighed, and said, "That was a practice," Hinata less excitedly looked at Saiki, making Saiki a little mad that the expectations of him were lowered. Saiki paused for a second then bent his knees a little further. Soon traveling through the air.
Hinata's eyes widen, while he looked up at Saiki, who had then jumped thirteen feet in the air! It was definitely a world record and would surpass Hinata's highest jump by a landslide of three-ish feet.
Hinata seemed in more awe of Saiki, who just thought:
'I should have just broken my bones,'
~
"You have to believe me! He went swoosh and whoosh! And then BAM BAM BAM and Yuuta went wild until his mom picked him up, and then swoosh!" Hinata tried to explain with sound effects and not words, his experience with Saiki the day before, right after practice when they were cleaning.
"Sure, maybe he just seemed to jump high because you're so short." Tsukishima laughed as he put away the volleyball.
Hinata gasped and pulled out his phone, which he had recorded accidentally when he was being dragged around the city. "I'll have you know, he's only five centimeters taller than me!" he complained and then shoved the phone to Tsukishima's face, who's smile died out when he saw the video.
The attention was brought to them, as the manager who Nishinoya and Tanaka loved oh-so-much looked at the video as well when shown, soon the entire team saw the short clip of the teen jumping through the air like he was flying.
"He barely bent his legs," she said, and the kids took that to analysis.
"Meaning, he might switch positions, even that ace can't jump that high." soon the video leaked through the web, and Saiki who was discontent to the most about the video, even after it was taken down because of policies and stuff. Was no longer the setter, than the ace for P.K Academy's Volleyball Team.
"Good grief, this should have just stayed in its genre."
