Jin woke up to an empty bed.
He expected it, but it still hurt when he realized Yongsun was gone. He checked the time and it was almost noon, so he got up and got ready to work.
After a few minutes he was picking up food and driving to Yoongi's house, feeling the need to vent to his best friend. Jin rang the bell and waited for his friend to open the door but he didn't, Jungkook did.
The younger was only wearing sweatpants and his hair was messy, and by the look on his face he was surprised to find Jin outside. "Uh, hey" he said half panicking "Hey" Jin replied "Is Yoongi home?" Jungkook rubbed the back of his head and nodded "yeah, I'm sorry come in" he said opening the door completely so Jin could enter the house "I'm going to call him" Jungkook said disappearing through the hallway.
A few seconds later Yoongi appeared on the living room drying his hair with a towel "hyung, what are you doing here?" he asked calmly "I brought food, I needed to talk to you.. but if you're busy I can come back later" "Don't worry about Jungkook, he is about to leave anyways" Yoongi replied seating in front of Jin "He is an angel, right?" Jin whispered and Yoongi smiled "He is"
Jungkook appeared again fully clothed and bowed to them "I'll get going now" he said opening the door ready to leave as fast as he could "Kookie" Yoongi called him and the younger stopped turning around slowly "yes, hyung" Yoongi walked to him and pouted "aren't you forgetting something?" he said biting his bottom lip. Jungkook turned to see Jin nervously and whispered "Hyung, I don't..." he started but Yoongi interrupted him "Baby, he's not going to say anything ok? Trust me... I want him to know, please" Jungkook sighed and closed his eyes "You know I would do anything you ask, hyung" the younger replied hugging his boyfriend and kissing him as a proper goodbye "I love you" Jungkook said kissing Yoongi's forehead and leaving the place.
Yoongi closed the door behind him and turned to Jin with his gummy smile at full display "So, what did you want to talk about?"
"Forget about me for a moment, what was that? I'm pretty sure I heard him saying I love you" Jin asked smiling to his friend "When?? How?" he asked and Yoongi couldn't help but keep smiling "Hyung, I... I think I love him too" Jin dropped all he had in his hand and turned completely to his friend "Yoongi, Oh my God this is amazing. I'm so happy for you... but how is it that I'm just finding this out? How long have you been together?"
"A few months, and I've never been happier. Jungkook... he's amazing. He kept looking at me from across the street and at first I was angry because I just thought he hated me for working at Kalon, I thought it was a rivalry thing. But one day I walked to him and I told him to stop staring at me and I even threatened him but he just smiled and told me he liked me and asked me out... We went on a few dates, we got exclusive and a week ago he said he loves me" Jin was listening to his friend with a big smile "That's amazing! but I still don't understand why I haven't seen you with him at all before, or why didn't you talked about him?"
Yoongi's smile disappeared "Actually.. I'm going to ask you to not say anything about us to anyone, hyung. especially Yongsun" the older furrowed his brows "You know my lips are sealed, but why?" Yoongi rubbed his temples, he didn't wanted his friend to feel like it was his fault that he and Jungkook couldn't be freely together so he needed to be careful with the way he explained to him "Jungkook doesn't want her to find out, apparently everything Kalon related was strictly prohibited to even mention in front of her until yesterday. So we're just being cautious, he loves his job and I love mine so we don't want to risk that" Jin thought about it for a few seconds "I'm sorry you have to hide because of me and Yongsun, but I'm genuinely happy for you. You deserve more than anyone to be happy" Yoongi smiled again "I truly am happy... but now you have to tell me what did you want to talk about that deserve chinese" he asked opening the dishes
"It's actually about Yongsun" Yoongi stopped moving and turned to his friend "Is this about her going to Kalon yesterday?" Jin gulped and nodded "Ok, I'm listening" "Seeing her there last night was hard, and I had drink a bit more than usual because of that so I got out the back door after our show to catch some air. I was about to get inside when I saw her entering the alley. I speak to her for a few minutes and we ended up kissing and going in my apartment" Jin covered his face with his hands "Hyung..." Yoongi said "I know, I know" Jin interrupted him "It was amazing, Yoongi, having her in my arms again..."
Jin sighed and after a few minutes in silent he continued "but then I woke up alone" Yoongi rubbed his back "Do you remember the talk we had when you came here after you sign the divorce papers?" he asked and Jin nodded "I do" "I know she loves you and if you still love her as much as you did back then, you'll eventually find the path to each other. But right now, I don't think she's ready yet" "I know she's not... honestly I don't think I'm ready either... I just missed her" Yoongi nodded and smiled to his friend giving him the food "let's eat" Jin returned the smile "Yeah".
