"Do you want to dance?" Jin asked. He had battle himself for almost an hour not sure if he wanted to walk that path, but Yongsun looked so beautiful and he actually had nothing to lose so he did it. "I actually came here with someone... so thank you, but no" Jin smiled and got closer to her so he could whisper in her ear "that someone is the one that's dancing right now with Jimin? Because it doesn't look like he remembers he's here with you" Jin had seen them arrive together and at first he had feel angry but then he observed him and find out he wasn't interested in Yongsun. She turned to the dance floor and sighed she was going to have a talk with Jackson later "ONE song" she said getting up and walking in front of Jin.
They danced more than one, it was fun pretending it was all great between them, but Jin couldn't let the opportunity get away "why did you leave that morning? We could've get breakfast together" he said and she turned so she was facing him "you know that's not a good idea" she replied moving around, they were still on the dance floor and even when they weren't focusing on it at the moment they kept swinging around "why not?" he asked "why can't we try again? I know you feel the same as I do" Jin pulled Solar by her waist, looking into her eyes, Solar played with his shirt "tell me you don't love me anymore and I'll leave you alone. Just look into my eyes and tell me how you really feel" She looked at his eyes and gulped "Jin, you know there's so much more in a relationship. And you know that we broke up not because we didn't love each other" Solar nodded "we did because I can't give you what you want" Jin grabbed her chin and lifted it a little "that's the thing, the only thing I want is you. I can live without anything else, but now that I had you again I can't let you go from me" Jin closed the space between them kissing her. It was just a peck but she smiled afterwards and Jin knew it was all he needed, until Solar speak again "I'm sorry, Jin" she said and ran away leaving Jin there in the dancing floor, with his heart broken.
"are you ok, hyung?" Yoongi asked, he had seen Yongsun leave him in the middle of a song "No. But I will be" he replied walking away.
He looked for her and finded her outside waiting for a cab "you don't have to leave the party" Jin said "Jungkook needs you here" Solar crossed her arms and turned to him "remember the day you proposed?" she asked and Jin nodded "We were in Japan" he replied. Of course he remembered, he planned that trip for over a year after Yongsun's mom died and he wanted to make her smile again. "You made me a promise that day. You said you were going to do anything to make me happy" "I did" Jin replied walking closer "And I said too that I would love you for the rest of my life" he lifted her face with his hand looking into her eyes "Please, let me show you how much you mean to me. We can take it slow, as slow as you want" Yongsun's eyes were teary and she didn't knew what to do "I promise, I would make you happier. I know I wasn't the best back then, but I know now what it is to live without you and I'm not planning on losing you again. Please baby"
She thought for a minute and pouted "what if I want to start as just friends? Would you be interested?" she asked and Jin smiled "Can I take you on dates? Friendly ones" she nodded smiling and he hugged her "thank you" he whispered "can we keep dancing?" she asked and Jin nodded taking her hand and returning to the party. The weather suddenly seemed better.
