We head straight to the beauty parlour after leaving the store.
At the beauty parlour we order some snacks whiles waiting to be attended to.
We are later attended to and we decide to have both manicure and pedicure.
Our hair is later taken care off.
My nails are painted with aquamarine nail polish with dark sparkles on it.
Matilda goes for a yellow nail polish to match with her outfit and Becca settles for a royal blue nail polish.
We've spent like two hours here without even realizing.
I'm sure by now the guys are really pissed.
After finishing with our makeover we pay for it and head straight for the carriage.
On our way Becca tells us she will us in the carriage ride.
Good thing that the carriage is spacious enough for the five of us.
We arrive at where the carriage ride is and i just can't stop myself from laughing at the sight of the boys standing there infuriated.
They look like they want to skin someone alive.
Okay I'm exaggerating
And its only Carlos who is pacing around angrily
Fynn is just leaning against the carriage with a frown on his face.
"Oh girls we are soo dead today."I hear Becca mutter to us.
"Carlos will definitely make us pay for delaying ."Matilda adds
"You girls should Just chill. It's not like he will kill us or anything relating to that."I say laughing.
Fynn is the first one to notice us approaching and he stands upright
"Finally! Where have you ladies been?"Fynn questions.
"Around" Mat answers
"What do you mean by around?we've looked for you girls everywhere and waited for you here for what seems like forever."Carlos says harshly
" looked everywhere indeed ."I mutter under my breath.
Earning giggles from Matilda and Rebecca.
"What do you mean by what you just said. Do you know what time it is?it's almost five and here you are making silly remarks."he says fuming with anger
"We are so sorry Car."Mat pleads
"I dont think i am and What at all is wrong with what I said. It's so obvious you didn't search everywhere because we were at the beauty parlour and it's an easy place to guess about our whereabouts. don't even talk about time. You are the one wasting time here complaining about something that you can't do anything about so why don't we save time by skipping this and head straight home."I say
"Why are you so.."he is then interrupted by fynn
"Enough of this bickering you two.let's just go back home."Fynn says
"Yeah I agree with my brother."Becca finally opens her mouth.
Carlos just eyes me and storms into the carriage followed by Fynn and Becca
"You always enjoy getting on my brother's nerves by standing against him don't you.?"she asks smiling
"Someone had to say something isn't that so?"
"I guess you are right. I'm impressed tho. It's been a very long time since I saw a girl challenge him like this."she informs me
"Will you ladies please get into the carriage."we hear Fynn say
"Coming"Matilda responds
We then join them in the carriage.
The carriage ride back home is quiet.
I begin to think about Emily once again.
I would have really loved to spend this day with her and enjoy how she would talk non stop about how excited she is to dance at the ball.
I really miss her.
I have to talk to her. I hope she will at least show up at the ball.
Her wicked parents shouldn't prevent her from attending this ball. She has been looking foward to this ball for soo long.
I will try and talk to her there when she shows up.
"Did you guys buy something for the ball."I hear Matilda ask
"Not really."Fynn briefly answers
They all begin to converse about something that I don't really know since I'm too focused on what to say to Emily the next time l see her.
" heyy .... ." Becca says snapping her fingers at me.
All eyes move to me
"Yeah"I respond
"You've been quiet through out this carriage ride. Are you alright?." Mat questions worriedly
"Nothing to worry about. I'm perfectly fine just thinking about one or two things."I tell her
"Alright......will you be joining us for dinner."Mat offers.
"I will pass"i briefly say
"Why......"she says childishly
"It's already late..I have to go home and i have things to do ."I tell her
"Alright then "
"We will pick you up at eight so be ready okay .no delays."Becca says
"You don't have to.I will manage on my own. "I tell her
"Oh come on Ciara dont be soo stubborn just allow us to do this."she insists
"I agree with her."Fynn says
"Won't you people be attending this with your parents.The ride will be too full for me to fit anyways."I say
"Don't be silly Ciara.Our parents will take the other Carriage ride."Matilda says
"Why are you people making her feel so important.just allow her to go on her own it's not as if she going with us will make a difference in our lives."Carlos says.
"Stop being rude to her Car."Matilda says
"Don't worry about how he treats me Matilda. And i will love to join you guys."I agree just to spite him
Carlos just rolls his eyes and looks out the window.
"Nice to hear."Becca says
The carriage comes to a halt
"Okay then I guess i will be alighting here. See you guys at eight."I say getting down
"Byee"the girls wave back at me
And Fynn smiles warmly whiles Carlos just looks out the window pretending as if i don't even exist
I wonder how I'm able to stand him without riping him apart
I close the door and the carriage begins to move away.
I unlock the door and enter my house.
