Ciara's POV
I wake up quiet early today because i slept for many hours yesterday.
I decide to go get tea before I take my bath and go about the day's activity.
I've gotten really attached to the idea of taking tea immediately I wake up ,it kinda makes my mind active for the day's work.
After preparing the tea I quietly sit on the dining table and enjoy the savouring taste of the hot tea.
Mum later joins me in the kitchen all dressed .
"Are you off to somewhere ?"
I ask her whiles sipping from my teacup.
"Yeah I have to go to the palace right away.
they need extra hands because there are soo many things we need to do there."she says whiles preparing something to eat.
" what will happen to today's dinner with our neighbours then?"I ask
"I hope it still comes on but then i have to quickly finish with all my duties in the palace so that we can have enough time to prepare the various meals I've planned on doing."she says joining me on the table.
"Okay...So I will have to stay here all alone then."
" Yeah... but then I can always invite the Neighbour's daughter to keep you company for sometime whiles am out."she offers
"I think i will pass mum,afterall I will be meeting her this evening so what's the rush?I will just finish my chores and complete the storybook I was reading."
" as you wish but remember you are still grounded so don't even try going outside because i will definitely find out. if you put up a good behaviour during this evening dinner I promise to lessen the punishment to just 4 days okay."
"Really mum thank you so much I quickly kiss her on the cheek saying thank you.
"Okay okay but remember the condition because if you mess up I will rather extend the punishment."
She tells me firmly.
"Okay mum there is nothing to worry about I will be on my best behaviour since I don't want to ruin my reputation to them ."I say smiling innocently.
" fine ......I think i will be on my way then. Please don't mess up the house and do your chores as you said earlier.There are enough foodstuffs in the house so you can feel free and prepare anything of your choice but then don't waste anything ."she instructs
"Everything will be fine mum don't worry."I assure her.
" Okay I trust you .Take care okay and lock the door immediately I go outside just for safety reasons."she says moving to the door with me following right behind her.
" I will be just fine and if you keep on talking like this you will surely run late."I say literally pushing her out of the house.
"Okay Byeee .....take good care of yourself and dont do anything that will land you in trouble
I love you dear."
She hurriedly says, kissing me on the cheek and she finally goes outside shutting the door .
I then lock the door.
I finally have this whole house to myself .
I can dance to the classical music and sing along without mum complaining about the noise am making and for once she is allowing me to cook in her kitchen without her supervision . This is just awesome
I say to myself whiles twirling around like a ballerina.
I quickly go to the kitchen and wash our teacups and after that i walk straight to my bedroom to get my toiletries and head straight to the bathroom.
