Loki's POV
I found their landing site. I found the man who took her. He wasn't worth my time. She was long gone by now, I have no where to bring her anyway. I will need to focus on finding us a home first. Somewhere away from people. Where I can be a good dad, a nice home for her. Once I find it, I'll bring her back home. Back to me.
Alex's POV
Location: Rendezvous pointI waited for the bus. My clothes were dirty, I was thirsty and done with this shit. I looked around and spotted no one. I tried to sense the bus, find out if it was nearby. After a couple of minutes I found it. Cloaked in the woods. I had been walking for 36 hours. I ran towards it and found the door. I managed to open it as Jane had been uploaded into the system temporarily. Daisy was in the room. She ran up and hugged me before looking around for other people. "We weren't expecting you for another four hours! I have a lot of questions, you can do magic stuff. Are you in-human? How does it work?"
"I don't know and don't care. I need water." I said playfully pushing her away. It wasn't long before everyone realised I was back. The only person who didn't smother me with a hug was May. She instead asked to talk with me in private. First I grabbed a waffle and bottle of water before joining her in Phil's office. "What's up May?" I questioned taking a bite.
"Why didn't you use your abilities in front of everyone? Your life was in danger!" She yelled the last part. I flinched slightly as I had focused on listening and my hearing was turned up louder than usual since I was on edge.
"They don't know, it's off book and it must stay that way. May, I'm not one of those in-humans. I don't know what I am!" I yelled back. This pissed her off. She stormed out to everyone else. I ran after her, worried of what she was about to do.
"We are changing the route. Phil, I will call Stark you help Alex pack." After that announcement she left. Phil ran after her, most likely to talk in over. I felt a horrible feeling in my stomach. I didn't want to leave. I felt tears threaten to fall from my eyes. I held them back long enough for one question from the group.
"What's going on, why are you packing?" Simmons asked.
"I'm being dumped in New York. I better go pack my things." In all honesty, there was very little to pack. I just couldn't bare to be around them. They had been so welcoming. Fury and Coulson said this would be like a family. That I would be here for a long time. They lied. I slammed the door. Objects flew off the table. I sighed and picked them up, lucky no one saw that. I packed up all the things in my room. My glasses must still be in the lab. With the bag on my back I made my way down to the lab. The room went quiet when I entered. They weren't talking about me. I could hear them two rooms down due to my enhanced hearing. I grabbed my glasses and was about to leave when Simmons stopped me.
"Alex. We don't know why May wants you to leave but know that you will always be welcomed back by us." She gave me a bone-crushing hug. I was on the verge of tears. I managed to keep it together. I wasn't even here for three days. I ended up taking a nap while awaiting my doom.
Meanwhile,
Phil shut the door to his office after Calling May in. "What are you doing?!" He questioned.
"Phil, I assume you know. She has powers and just told me she isn't in-Human. She doesn't know what she is, as much as we both dislike Stark. Rodgers does work with him now and he is the best option." May defend her choice. Phil was grasping straws.
"She is safe with us-"
"No, she isn't Phil! She was just dragged out of the plane by Ward. She could take down the Bus in less than a minute and we both know it. She crushed a cup, your cup the one Thor gave to you. The Asgardian metal. She needs people who can help her." May shot him down once again. Phil was backed into a corner. He sat down with his head in his heads. Phil promised to find her a permanent place, with people who would be around. She needs the structure. She is just a kid.
