June limped across the lawn, stumbling every once in awhile with Lori holding her up. It wasn't easy. They finally made it to the Shrieking Shack and Lori led June to a room much farther back than the one they normally went in. They had already arranged it with Remus. He was the bigger and more aggressive wolf, he needed the bigger room. June used to simply run in a circle a bit before curling up and going to sleep. Or, try, to go to sleep. Remus would attack her every time she laid down, it got to the point where she didn't even bother. Lori could only hope that she would do what she used to and it'd be simple. Lori tried to stay out of the room while June transformed, but she had no choice since if she even tried to slip in, June would run out and start looking for Remus.

June finally transformed and ran around the room with Lori for about an hour. She was very active. She eventually laid down, panting and started whining. She looked at the door, as if she was wishing to be let out. It was depressing. Lori sighed as she trotted over to the door and pushed it open. She led the werewolf to the room she normally went in and pushed the door open. Remus immediately stood up and growled until he saw June. If Remus was in human form, his face would've lighted up. They immediately curled up into each other and Lori internally groaned. She paid close attention to the moon.

After awhile, Lori forced June up and closed the door to where Remus was at. She quickly led June back to their room and shut the door. June flopped down and started whining once again, staring simply at the wall. Eventually, the moon went down and June transformed back. She quickly got dressed again and turned to Lori.

"Did I do anything?" June asked and Lori shook her head.

"We ran around a bit and then you laid down like you used to. Though you didn't fall asleep, you just whined the whole time. And you stared at the wall, you looked like you were gonna cry, Junie. No offence but it was kind of pathetic," Lori said and June chuckled.

"Good. And I didn't see Remus?" June asked and Lori shook her head.

"I don't see why you won't just try to see him. What's the worst that could happen? Junie, I know you don't want to but as your best friend, I just want you to be happy. I know you think I don't see it but, Junie, you're lonely. You have your mom who frankly, wishes you died instead of your father and thinks you're a freak, and me. That's it. You need him, June. I know he likes you, you like him. You wouldn't even have to date him. Just please, June. Do it. If not for you then for me." Lori said and June sighed.

"Lori, I'm sorry but I can't!" June said sadly, sitting down on the small chest in the corner.

"What are you going to say when the boys complete the transformation? You're going to have to. There's no way out of it. And what if Remus knows you're his mate? What if he feels that pull? I know you feel it, you already knew he was your mate without having to go through a transformation. And by next full moon, if you don't get your priorities straight, because yes, he is something you need, not a want, I will force you to do the full moon with him. Only because, I know he'll make you happy, June. He will. He really will, June." Lori said and headed towards the door. She stopped abruptly.

"We were snogging with guys from the party. Ended up in their dorms, didn't do anything more than snog. We passed out before we could. We were wasted. They didn't see us because we left about an hour after we came. Try to seem hung over or something." Lori said before walking out and shutting the door behind herself. On her way out, she saw Remus walking out. She quickly checked to make sure that June wasn't watching, when she saw the coast was clear she pulled him back into the room.

"What the hell was that, Lori? I'm trying to make sure I'll be able to get some sleep." Remus asked.

"Shut up, Remus. Listen, what I'm about to tell you-" she paused. June would probably try to listen in if she heard them. She muttered a silencing charm and continued.
