Jace's P.O.V

It's been 3 years since she left. Three years since I made the biggest mistake of my life. Three years since I lost the love of my life.

I would be lying if I said that I was okay because I wasn't. After Clary left I never try to date again, I knew that if she was out there, I still had a change of getting her back so I didn't want ruin my opportunity by being with someone else.

I was asleep until I hear me door being open follow by Isabelle's voice, "Rise and shine, sleep head!". I immediately put the pillow on head, blocking the light that came from the open door and hopefully her voice, "What the hell?" I say as Izzy takes the pillow of my face. I look around my eyes adjusting to the light. When my eyes land on her she just giggle "Oh quit being a baby and get dressed.". I just glare at her and get up bed and started to walk to my closet, "What are you doing here anyway?" I ask her still with a sleepy voice as I look for a shirt. "Well mom call for a meeting, I don't know why but if she ask so quickly and early is because is important." I take my shirt of and put the fresh one on, "What time is it?" I ask her. "7:40, in ten minutes at the library"And with that she just leaves the room.

After I got dress I start to walk to the library. My mind drifting away as I thought about Clary. The nights and the mornings were worst everyday. I felt disappointment every night that she wasn't beside me with her head and chest pressed up against me and every morning was a constant battle with myself, what was the point in waking up if she wasn't there with her bright green eyes and beautiful smile.

When I open the door of the library everyone was there surrounding the desk, there was something in Maryse hands that I couldn't see, but something that catch my attention was the confusion in all of their faces. "What's going on here?" I ask as I step closer, to get a better look.

Maryse was the first to talk, "Why don't you see it by yourself?" She gave me an envelope, it was still unopened but as I give it I better look I saw that it was address to me. "Do you want me to open it?" Maryse nodded her head and I took a deep breath, preparing myself for the information.

I opened and quickly knew from who this was. I have only seen this type of letter one time and I knew it was Sebastian who was behind this.

Dear brother,

This may come as a surprise to you mainly because we haven't seen each other since Clarissa broke the bond between us and destroyed my apartment.

I'm writing not to tell you but to warn you. I don't know what you have done to my sister or why she isn't in the institute with you but she is mine and I will find her. She will be my queen and we will burn down the world with you in it. Blood calls to Blood, she will come to me.

I stood froze in my place as I read the letter. He wanted Clary, of course he would want her that all he ever wants, I thought. "So what does it says?" I look up to see Izzy looking at me with worried eyes. "It's from Sebastian, he is looking for Clary and I think he just declare war."

Everybody was on shock, we haven't heard of Sebastian for about 3 years and know he suddenly needs to find Clary?! I was worried, not for me but for Clary. We didn't know we're she was, I felt useless because I couldn't protected her but I was going to find her.

"We need to tell the clave, we need to be prepared for war if its necessary." Maryse said as she walks out of the room to tell the clave. "We need to find her, this would never happen if Jace could keep it in his pants," Simon said as he glare daggers at me.

When Clary left Simon blame it on me, I'm not saying is not my fault but it took him a long time to forgive me. "If Sebastian finds her before us and he takes her away it would be your fault." He storms out of the room and Isabelle just gives me an apologize look "Simon wait!" she says and goes after him.

Magnus comes closer to me and says "Maybe it was a good think that she run away." I look at him like he was crazy and even Alec looks confused "What! Are you crazy. You think is good that she is out there all alone while Sebastian is looking for her." Magnus just signs "That's not what I meant, so calm down goldilocks," I roll my eyes and take a seat on the desk, this was too much to take in. "What I meant is that if Sebastian doesn't know where Clary is then he can't take her, we just need to find her first."

"He does have a point Jace," Alec says, he then faces Magnus "But we have been looking for her the past 3 years and we haven't fount her. What difference would it make now?"

We hear the door being open an Maryse comes in, she had a relief look on her face. "I just talk to the clave they know where Clary is." My face goes blank. All this time and they knew. We ask they if they got any news from her to tell us immediately but they told us they had more important things to do that to look for her. Rage start to build up on me.

"Where is she? I need to know now!" I was desperate, I need to find her and quickly, I need to keep her safe. "She is in the Russia institute, she has been there for the past 3 years."

Hope that you're enjoying this fanfic. I had been searching for the past hour Latin quotes and now I'm obsessed. So you will be seeing that a lot.

I just have exams 3 weeks ago and next week I have exams again?! This is crazy people I need more than 3 weeks to study and learn, not to mention that I need time to do important things like read and watch shows.
