Everybody had gone to their lesson and there was nobody in sight Missy and Sally turned their heads to check if any teachers were patrolling the hallway Sally made an "Ok " sign with her fingers " the coast is clear" Sally whispered as she smiled.

Sally and Missy crept out the big main school doors and round the school were the playround was " the storage room is near were the boys play football" Missy said whispering quietly.

Suddenly the two girls stopped in their tracks they saw the football field it was lit up with a tall spotlight   aimed at the pitch so it could spot intruders if there was to be any.

" we need to sneak past that light" whispered Sally suddenly the two girls noticed the groundskeeper walking around the rim of the pitch with a torch in his hand.

" we need to run past him when he has his back to us then shut the storage room door so he can't see us" said Missy worryingly

The groundskeeper turned his back to the girls and went up some stairs to the side Missy saw the groundskeeper was gone and put her hand up so Sally could see and quickly counted down with her fingers " 3 2 1" Missy said aloud quickly Sally and  Missy both ran to the storage room door and banged into it thinking it was already open.

Missy knocked her body weight into the door thinking it would open but it wouldn't " it won't budge" Missy said concerningly looking at Sally.

Sally looked down and saw a lock tied to a chain around the door handle Sally grabbed the lock frustratingly and pulled back with the lock in her hands thinking it would come loose.

Missy saw Sally pulling as hard as she could with all her strength so she raised her leg and lowered her foot on the lock with force, Luckily the lock fell off into Sally's hands, Sally threw the lock on the muddy ground and they put their hands on the door handle and flung the door open. Sally could feel the wind in her eyes as the door swung open.

The girls rushed inside the storage room quickly and shut the door,  it was dark inside there was barely any light except for the moon shining through a keyhole,  Missy pittered and pattered around trying to feel for a light switch or something that emitted light Missy felt the nearby shelf next to some gloves she felt the next item next to the gloves and it felt like and on and off switch Missy picked the item up in blindness and put it up infront of her, she pressed the switch and a light came on " a torch" she gasped Sally reached out her hand and Missy gave her the torch.

Sally aimed it all about to try and see something to lock the door with but she couldn't see anything Luckily she aimed the torch to the side and leaning on on the nearby shelf  was a wet mop that was still in a bucket filled with dirty water  it looked like the grounds keeper didn't clean it out.

Sally grabbed the mop out of the bucket and slid it in the door handle, they moved the door to check it was shut and luckily it stayed closed.

The girls went deeper into the storage room the room was covered in cobwebs in every corner as they aimed the torch round looking for any mysterious shapes in the wall " this is creepy" said Missy the girls moved further in the storage room and saw a rack of aprons and gloves hung up covering a brick wall.

Sally put her hands on the rack of aprons and Missy held the end of the rack and they both pushed it out of the way revealing a electric generator guarding the brick wall this generator is what powered the entire school.

Sally shined the torch the brick wall with the generator in it and the torch illuminated a gap next to the wall leading to the next room.

Sally knelt down and held a brick at the bottom it wobbled it was loose, Sally broke the brick from the cement and put it on the ground, Sally went sideways and shuffled through the gap, Missy followed as Missy shuffled along the gap the wall was covered in spiders webs and the webs and dust got on her back " ewww i don't like this" Missy whined.

Sally got through the other end and Missy too she dusted the cobwebs and dust from her clothes as she  quivered from being all dirty, the cobwebs and dust flew gently to the floor.

Sally and missy were in a hallway with ancient architecture on the ceiling and on the walls this was  the hideout of the wizards and mages.

All along the hallway was stone sculptures that looked like they were laying down to rest all the sculptures had writing at the bottom they were the names of the wizards and mages that fought in some kind of battle that was mentioned in the big history book Sally found.

Sally was amazed and stood there in amazement " see Missy they were real and they kept the  horses alive for so long using the spell book " Sally said looking at the sculptures of the mages with Missy.

She knelt down and put her hand on one of the sculptures that read " Salazar" she touched the sculptures cold stone head " thank you for showing me the way" whispered Sally looking at the sculpture.

It was the Mages that gave Sally hope in her quest to rescue Thunderbolt it was the fact she Believed in the mages that led her to the hideout.

Sally took her hand off the sculpture and walked with Missy down the into a room full of books.
Missy's eyes lit up " we must find the spell book it's got to be here somewhere"shouted Missy with excitement.

She ran to the big shelf and went to her tip toes and started throwing all the books out onto the floor she didn't have a care in the world.

Sally reached for missy's arm trying to stop her from throwing even more of the mages books books " stop that you are desecrating a sacred place" Sally shouted.

Missy ignored Sally and gripped onto an empty shelf she held on to the big shelf and it leaned forward it was about to fall over, before it could  Sally jumped and caught Missy and they both landed on the floor next to the shelf away from danger the two girls lay on the floor and watched the shelf tumble down, the shelf touched the next one as it crashed and it came down smashing onto the floor with a loud bang all the pages of the books flew out and their were pages everywhere it was raining pages.

Sally looked at Missy " are you stupid? You could've gotten yourself killed being disrespectful like that" shouted Sally angrily.

A tear ran down Missy's face " thank you for saving me friend" she smiled and hugged Sally tight " just don't disrespect a sacred place again" said Sally letting go of Missy's hug.

Just then in their sight Sally and Missy saw a shiny turquoise book with a spiral pattern it was stood on an alter, it was guarded by the bookshelves.

" the book!" Both girls gasped at the same time Excitedly Sally got up off the floor " maybe it was a good thing you crashed the bookshelves after all" said Sally putting her hands on her hips looking at Missy.

Sally and Missy came towards the book and Missy swiped the cover with her hands  " i can't believe what i'm seeing" said Missy with amazement .

Sally put two hands on the book and took it off the alter Missy took Sally's bag off her back and put it on the cold ground and unzipped it opening it up.

Sally put the book in her bag she was happy she finally found what she was looking for.

Now that they had the spell book It was time for Sally and Missy to escape and go to the library were she could study the spell were she could finally save her horse.
