Chapter 7: The spell

Now that Sally had the book it was time to escape and head to the Library, the two girls walked over the collapsed bookshelves carefully and entered back down the hallway were the sculptures were.

They came to a brick wall and Missy ran her hand across it so she could feel were the gap was so she and Sally could slide  through again.

She finally felt the gap and shuffled through back to the storage room, Sally followed. they were back up on the surface Sally and Missy moved out of the way and moved towards the rack of aprons and gloves and Sally put her hands on it Missy went to the other end and held the clothes rack. Sally and Missy moved it and to the enterance of the hideout so it was in the way of the electricity generator just like how it was when they got there.  The two girls turned the clothes rack round so the front of the clothes faced the storage room door.

Sally let go of the clothes rack and walked towards the storage room door she grabbed the mop and slid it out and put it back in the dirty mop bucket.

Sally flung the door open and standing there was the principal and janitor they were surprised to see the two girls as they door swung open. Sally's mouth widened in shock she was shocked to see the principal she raised her hands above her head in surrender Sally was hoping to not get caught but suddenly Missy had a plan.

The principal Mr Wilson a tall man with glasses and a moustache he was harsh on children and gave strict rules and he had favourites and luckily Sally was one of them. He put his hands on his hips and looked down at Sally and Missy " what have you two girls been up to in here then?" Mr Wilson said holding of his glasses down.

Missy looked at Sally and smiled and then looked back at Mr Wilson " one of the boys dared me to go in and turn the schools power off" said Missy dangling her head.

Mr Wilson pointed at Missy " thats detention for you for trying to mess with school property you shall come with me, " shouted Mr Wilson Missy dangled her head in shame

Mr Wilson looked at Sally " and what about you?" He asked Sally breathed for a moment and had a minute to think of the perfect excuse.

She looked at the principal " sorry sir i am fairly new to this school and i thought it was an outside toilet" she said embarrassingly.

Mr Wilson smiled at her " well we all make mistakes like that you can run along"   Mr Wilson said as Sally walked forwards.

He pointed at Missy " you come with me" he shouted sternly Missy dangled her head in shame and followed the principal.

Sally saw Missy walking behind the principal she turned her head to Missy and Missy saw Sally and looked at her  "Thank you" Sally mouthed in response Missy smiled back and gave a thumbs up.

Sally ran to the library it was the break before final lesson so people were in the library waiting for next lesson to start.

Sally sat at a table and plopped the spell book on the table it landed with a big thump, she opened up the book and the first few pages were written in a secret language but Sally somehow could understand. She read through and the first few pages were about  the history of the mages it was nothing she didn't already know from the history book.

She flickered through the pages and saw a list of spells she ran her finger through the list of spells there was an attack spell, a defensive shield spell there were spells but the horse resurrection spell was nowhere to be seen.
