Marinette's POV
Waking up I realize I'm in my bed, and Luka isn't next to me. I sit up and look around for him. Seeing that he isn't in the room I grab my phone and call him. When he doesn't answer I start to get worried. Standing up I grab a jacket and some shoes, going outside to look for him. As I walk outside I hug my jacket closer, trying to chase away the frozen air. I start walking around, looking for him. I make it to the park and see him sitting on a bench holding a piece of paper.

I walk over to Luka and sit down beside him, shivering as a cold breeze hits me. Without saying anything I grab his hand, drawing his attention to me. He looks at me and smiles before folding the paper and putting it in his phone case. "Hey." He says, his voice quiet. I try to reply but I can't force any words through my clattering teeth. Luka laughs and pulls me closer, warming me up. After a few seconds I feel warmth returning to my body, stopping my clattering teeth. "Let's get you home." He says, standing up and pulling me with him.

Luka's POV
After taking Mari back to her house I sit on the couch, not wanting to sleep. Pulling my phone out I browse the internet for a few hours. As I finish reading an article I found my stomach growls, reminding me that I haven't eaten since lunch. Getting up I go to the kitchen and grab some food before returning to Mari's room. I sit down and eat while continuing to look for something interesting on the internet. Putting my dirty plate aside I lean back and put my headphones in, getting lost in the music. I don't know how long I sat there before finally falling asleep.

Marinette's POV
I wake up to find it's still dark out. Looking around I see Luka sleeping on the couch. Grabbing a blanket I walk over to him and lay down, my head resting on his lap. As my eyes close and sleep is about to take me Tikki rushes in, the other Kwamis close behind. "Marinette! Hawkmoth is at the Eiffel Tower and he wants to speak to you!" She says, out of breath. Standing up I shake Luka, waking him up. After explaining everything to him we transform and head to the Eiffel Tower.

Alya's POV
I wake up to the sound of an alarm. I look at my phone to see an emergency message telling me to meet Mari and Luka at the Eiffel Tower to talk to Hawkmoth. Waking Nino we transform and run through the city. About halfway there we catch up to the others. "What's going on?" I ask as we approach the Eiffel Tower. "Tikki said that Hawkmoth wanted us to meet him at the Eiffel Tower to talk." Marinette says, using her yo-yo to swing to the top.

Marinette's POV
Landing on the top of the Eiffel Tower we stand in front of Hawkmoth. "What do you want?" I ask, standing in a defensive position. "I apologize for everything I've done. I realized how much my actions were hurting my family, so I'm here to give you my miraculous." He says, grabbing his miraculous and handing it to me. A flash of purple light envelopes him before it disappears, leaving him in his civilian form. "This is the last thing he saw before he jumped." Gabriel says, looking down at the dark city of Paris.

The following morning we all gathered at the base of the Eiffel Tower after giving the miraculous to Master Fu. We had reporter surrounding us and asking questions. "Is it true that you finally defeated Hawkmoth?" A reporter asks, shoving a microphone in my face. "He surrendered peacefully, choosing to give up his miraculous." I reply before being bombarded with more questions. "Will you stop being Ladybug now that he is gone?" A new reporter asks, shoving another microphone in my face. "I cannot answer that question at the moment." I say, trying to back away. Alya notices my discomfort and distracts the crowd while I slip away, Luka following me.

As Luka and I leave I get a message from Master Fu telling us to hurry to his place. Grabbing Alya and Nino we jump over the rooftops and land in an alley, transforming back. Running out of the alley we head to Master Fu's. As we run down the street I hear a voice I never wanted to hear again. "Oh hey Marinette, are you doing ok? You haven't been to school in forever, so everyone's been worried about you." Lila says, blocking our way forward.

"Hey Lila. Yeah, I'm doing ok. I've just been going through some stuff so my parents pulled me out and started homeschooling me." I say, trying to find a way past her without being rude. "You're being homeschooled now? That sounds exciting." She says, leaning against a building. "Not really, it's still school. But we really need to be somewhere so why don't we meet up later and talk if you want." I say, anxious to get to Master Fu's. "Yeah that sounds like fun, here's my number. I'll call you later and we can meet up. See you then Marinette." She says, handing me a paper and walking away.

As Lila walks away I start running again, the group following me. After a few minutes we arrive, tired and out of breath. Knocking on the door I hear Master Fu invite us in. I open the door and walk down the hallway to the room he was in. "You wanted to see us Master?" I say, taking a seat on the floor. "Yes, and I fear it isn't for a good reason." He says, a worried expression painted on his face. "The peacock miraculous and the moth miraculous have been stolen."
