"What I Want"

I want to write a poem that speaks for me when I could not speak for myself.

A poem that gets stuck in my mind first before anyone else.

A poem that reminds me of the precious feelings I have felt when I could no longer feel myself.

A poem that I would still fall in love with even after it loses its meaning.

I want you to be my poem where from the first to last words I'd say, "I understand."

My poem that gets stuck in my head all the time and I'd be, "Oh well,"

My poem that always reminds me of how lovely I am and how precious every moment is.

My poem that I would still hold on to even after love loses its meaning.
It's all I want.

Sadly, I never get what I want.
