A week later, during potions class, (y/n) noticed that Draco's sleeves were rolled up. He had some bruises on his hand. That must've happened during the 'ferret' incident, she thought.
"My Malfoy" Pansy Parkinson walked towards Draco with a fake smile plastered across her face.
Draco looked up from his potion, confused and triggered by the 'my' that recently left her mouth.
"I see, you got hurt," Pansy pointed towards his arm. Draco stared at her and said, "So?" bluntly.
"I figure you should be taken to the hospital wing."
"I'm alright" he replied, going back to his potion.
"There we have it. The unaffected Draco Malfoy. A touch of my wand can fix it, you know?" she suggested.
"No" Draco rolled down his sleeves.
Defeated, Pansy walked away.
Draco hated being bruised and more so, he hated it when magic was needed to heal the wound. He liked letting things heal on its own. But, that was one thing people didn't know about Draco Malfoy.
That evening, (y/n) was seen digging into her items, looking for something.
"What're you looking for?" her friend asked.
"Something" she absentmindedly answered, "impor..tant."
"Listen to me, go to sleep. We have a match to watch tomorrow."
"Hmm" she said, taking out her other trolley.
"Slap me if I'm wrong, something for Jerko Malfoy?" she raised her eyebrows, at least, that was what (y/n) pictured.
"Yeah, I'm looking for the Arnica tube." (y/n) found the pouch given to her by her mother.
"What's that?" her friend got up from her bed.
"This." she let out a breath before showing her the tube she was carrying.
Her friend was still extremely confused.
"It's an ointment for bruises since you know, Draco got hurt during the 'bouncing ferret' incident" she threw the tiny tube to her friend.
She disapprovingly looked at her, "Why give him a chance to hurt you just because he's hurt? You think he'll use Muggle ointment? He'll just pass a snarky remark."
"No harm in trying." (y/n) took the ointment from her friend and placed it under her pillow.

During breakfast the next day, there was buzz about what the first task would be.
(Y/n) kept reaching for her pocket just to make sure that the Arnica tube was still there. Across her table, she saw Draco, being his usual self and eating with smirks in between as his friends passed some comments about something.
After breakfast, everyone went to their respective dormitories in order to get ready to show some school spirit.
As for (y/n), she kept looking around for Draco, who was nowhere to be seen even when everybody had already returned.
"Still not here?" her friend asked, "Probably taming his stupid hair. Come on, you'll miss it."
(Y/n) laughed at her friend's dislike towards Draco and everything related to him but pushed her forward, "Go on. I'll catch up."

"Stupid badge. Stupid Potter" this chant was heard continuously as Draco headed back to his room to get the "Potter Stinks" badge.
He picked one up from the common room table and held it in his hand as he returned.
Students were still crowded outside the Great Hall and Draco Malfoy had to go there to look for his friends who wouldn't be able to break a stick without him.
There was a little spacy area at the corner of all the crowd and Draco decided to stand there and look for his friends. Being a little taller than the average, he had an advantage there.
He was looking around when the Hufflepuff girl came up to him again.
She was just about to open her mouth when Draco said, "What is it?" loudly so could hear him over the noise. She took out a relatively tiny tube from her pocket and offered it to him.
"Go away." Draco shouted at her, since the noise was getting louder by the second.
She pulled Draco's hand and handed it to him. In the process, Draco dropped his "Potter Stinks" badge and bent down to pick it up. He was just getting up to his usual height and was thinking of rudely asking her what that was when all the students started moving and the Hufflepuff girl was pushed towards him.
In a fraction of a second, their lips were touching and there was no space to pull away since students kept pushing her as they ushered by. There was no way that she could pull away.
Draco realized that and stood up to his full height. The girl turned beet red as she tried to blend in with the crowd, avoiding eye contact as much as possible.
"All because of this bloody Potter" he muttered under his breath and threw the badge on the floor as he kept the little tube in his pocket without realizing it.

(y/n) was utterly embarrassed at what just happened but she couldn't help smiling.
She had just kissed Draco Malfoy and Draco was all she thought of as he moved without actually moving because of the push of the crowd. She couldn't even get mad at the crowd. It wasn't like she hadn't dreamed of it happening someday, but under different circumstances.
