"Hey, whose dress is this?" Phillip asked, raising the tattered dress.

"No. No no no." (Y/n) took a look at the dress and grabbed it from his hand.

"Pansy Parkinson gave it to me." Phillip chimed in as (y/n) examined her tattered dress, "Said she found it in the dungeons."

"Thanks, Phillip." (y/n) thanked as she walked to her room.

"What happened here?" her friend asked as she looked at the dress in the worst condition possible.

"Pansy Parkinson." (y/n) sighed before lying down on her bed.

"No, she didn't." her friend said in that sassy way as she got up from her bed and started walking.

"Where are you going?" (y/n) inquired.

"To give Parkinson what she deserves." her eyes had an evil glint.

"How are you not a Slytherin?" (y/n) asked.

"Because I really don't care about blood status." she replied, angrily, "What is that girl's problem? You were not even going with Malfoy!"

"You don't know how furious I am. Just keeping it in." (y/n) balled her fists.

"Let's go and bash her. Muggle style" her friend suggested.

"No. We might get in trouble. I'll do it myself. You prepare for the ball." (y/n) stormed out.

Someone had finally asked (y/n) to the Ball. It was Blaise Zabini. He was rude in doing so but well, (y/n) didn't really have an option. Blaise told (y/n) that he was asking her because her pureblood friend was already going with George Weasley and all the Slytherins already had partners.

(Y/n) had just shrugged at that and accepted his offer.

Presently, (y/n) was seen walking towards the lake. It was almost humorous that (y/n) didn't know the actual location of the Slytherin common room and expected to meet Pansy Parkinson somewhere on the way.

Luckily, she saw Pansy Parkinson walking with her friends with a smug smile. She saw (y/n) but before she could even pass a snarky comment, (y/n) punched her hard on the face, making her land on the ground. Pansy Parkinson got up and advanced towards (y/n) but she could block it since she had experience fighting without magic. (Y/n) punched her again, breaking her nose.

Draco was walking towards them. He smirked seeing the fight.

"Didn't think you were one with some violence in your veins" he commented.

Pansy held her bleeding nose as she tried getting up again.

Snape arrived on the seen and took (y/n) to professor Sprout.
Professor Sprout half-heartedly told her that she would not be allowed to attend the Yule Ball and a letter about her actions would be sent to her mother.

After that, as (y/n) walked the hallways, Slytherins smirked at her and said, "Good one", Nice fight" etc.

Her friend ran towards her and asked "Are you alright? I heard Slytherins talking about what happened. You sure did bash her, Muggle style."

"I'm fine, but I won't be going to the ball now. That's my punishment although I am pretty sure that I wasn't going when I saw my dress." she laughed.

Her friend gave her a questioning look.

"It felt good hitting her." (y/n) confessed, "I'm out of anger now. I'm relieved."

"You should just tell your secret date that you can't go" her friend suggested as the realization hit her.

(Y/n) met up with Blaise Zabini and told her that she is not permitted to go to the Yule Ball because of her prior actions.

Blaise looked sort-of relieved, "Alright, then, I'll go look for another date."

_____________

(y/n) helped her friend get dressed up. All the others were rushing as they had to do all things by themselves but for, (y/n) and her friend, things were easy.

"There there" she said as she looked at her friend's new curly hair.

"How do I look?" she shut her eyes, refusing to glance at her reflection.
"Definition of beauty, my queen" (y/n) said with a fake accent.

"No. Seriously, tell me. Be honest." her friend insisted.

"I'm being completely honest. Now, just look at yourself and go. You don't want to make your date wait too long."

______

Draco noticed that Blaise was with Daphne Greengrass. Pansy was showing off her clothes to the other girls, mentioning how expensive they were.

"Zabini." Draco called him, "Where's your other date?"

"She wasn't allowed to come to the Ball because of that little incident with your date."

Pansy called Draco and he couldn't inquire further.

Soon, everyone was dancing and Draco had to dance too. As they danced, George Weasley's date eyed Pansy again and again as Pansy tried her best to ignore. If Draco remembered correctly, she was (l/n)'s friend.

"What did you do to the Hufflepuff earlier?" Draco asked while dancing.

"Oh, nothing." Pansy chuckled.

"Parkinson, tell me" Draco pressed.

"I did something to her dress and well, she came to get back at me."

Draco stopped dancing, "Well, she did get back at you better, didn't she?" Draco sneered before walking away from Pansy as she stood there, shocked at what had just happened.

"Malfoy, why did you ask me to take her to the dance?" Zabini asked as Draco walked out of the Ballroom.

"Listen, Zabini. This stays between us, get it?" Draco angrily whispered.

"Sure" Blaise nodded as he walked back to Daphne.

Let's go and talk to her Draco thought as he headed to the Hufflepuff common room, taking off the tie from around his collar.
