Beck's POV
I had been asleep for so long that when I woke up, my eyes found it hard to adjust to the lighting in the room. My eyes opened to see Doug who was sitting on a chair in the room and Aunt Carla who was sleeping close to my bed. I made an attempt to speak but I couldn't form any words.

I looked around my surroundings with my face scrunched up in confusion. White sheets, white and blue wallpapers, a super comfortable bed. Where was this place?

"Beck! Bro! Thank God you're awake." Doug sighed in relief.

"Beck?" Aunt Carla sleepily said and when her eyes opened, she jerked up from the bed in excitement and she threw her hands around me.

This time I opened my mouth to speak and the words actually came out.

"How long have I been here and where am I?"

"You're in the hospital Beck. You passed out." Doug replied and the memories from the past few days came rushing back to my head. Ella was dead.

"Where is Ella? I want to see her right now!" I yelled and the doctors rushed into the room, pinning me to the bed. "Don't touch me you dimwits! I want to see my girlfriend."

"Beck can you relax!" Doug screamed and the doctors shot him a warning look saying no screaming in the hospital and he muttered an apology. I was screaming and they didn't shut me up but they had to warn him.

"Sir you're weak and you need to take enough rest." One of the doctors said and I looked at him in confusion. Was that supposed to make me feel any better? Or was I going mad?

"Ella is fine you just didn't listen.." Doug said as he massaged his head.

The doctor said they lost her so how did she come back to life.

"Yes and we're very sorry sir. We thought you were one Sir Cee."

Immediately the doctor said that I tried to remember what I had heard.

"We tried Sir Cee but we lost her."

"So what you're trying to say is that my girlfriend is still alive? Yes!!" I punched my fists up in excitement and they flashed me a smile.

"Exactly why Doug said you should relax. You just passed out and you had us all scared." Aunt Carla said.

"You have a think for passing out Bro." I ignored Doug and I turned to the doctors to ask them about Ella.

"I knew she was going to make it! So when can we take her home?" I asked and Doug scoffed.

"Aren't you going to ask about us? We've been here with you in this room waiting for you to wake up." Doug scolded and I sighed.

"Doug I'm sorry. You should know how I feel. I was so worried and I guess I was too shocked so that's why I passed out."

"It's okay bro just don't do that again. You should learn to always listen carefully and because of you I lost all my junk that day."

"Mr Stones she's stable now but not entirely okay so she'll have to stay here until she gets better."

"Can I see her now? And how long have I been here."

"Yes you can, after you get enough rest and you've been here for two days."

"I am okay guys. Look I can stand upright." I moved to stand up from the bed but I winced in pain. Where was that pain coming from?

"We can see that you're okay but just rest." The doctor replied jokingly. "Mr Douglas can you please follow me to my office? We need to talk about something important."

What was so important that He couldn't say it in here. I was happy that Ella was stable now. I couldn't wait to see her. I closed my eyes and I slept off immediately.

Later on, I heard some muffled noises. Was I dreaming again? Oh but those voices sounded too real. I opened my eyes and I saw Tonia, Ella's mom looking at me.

"Hello Beck I heard what happened and I'm sorry for putting you through so much stress." She cried and I smiled.

"It's okay Tonia you don't have to be sad, I'm okay now and Ella is fine too so the question is how are you holding up?"

"I'm okay it's just that.."

"Beck I got you some hot coffee just how you like it and I made it too." When did Ben get here? He walked over to me with a cup of coffee in his hands and I thanked him.

"Beck where was Ella before the accident?" Ben inquired and I realized that I never really knew but Tonia had called me immediately I had gotten that call from the hospital so it only meant one thing. That she knew something that I didn't.

"Tonia you called me that day so did you know where she was?" Her faced paled up a bit before she finally answered.

"She was at my place and we had an argument before she left."

"So you're saying she drove out of the house angry so that was the cause of the accident." Douglas stated and she nodded her head in agreement.

"So what did you two argue about?" I asked.

"She told me to forgive James but I didn't listen to her so when the conversation got really heated, I told her about..." she paused and looked at all of us in the room.

I didn't realize that she had been crying until now.

"You told her what?" Doug asked.

"I told her who her real father was. James is Ella's father."

Wait what?

"What do you mean by that? How is that even possible and when did that happen?" I asked and she sniffled.

"I was raped and it was James. I only realized when I got married to him when I saw the birthmark on his left thigh and I decided to run a paternity test."

"And when did you find out?"

"Some years ago but I didn't want anything to ruin my plans and I didn't want my daughter to be traumatized so I hid it from her." She cried.

"This life is a movie!" Doug screamed.

"Shut up Doug!" Aunt Carla hissed and I have her a thumbs up.

"So when she found out, she left the house." I bounced my head along to the tune of the music playing from one of the rooms.

"Beck please I need you to help me. I don't think Ella would ever forgive me if she should recover from her amnesia." She cried and every one in the room coughed.

"She'll forgive you only if you learn to forgive too and can you please the last thing you said."

"Beck you need to rest. Remember what the doctor said." Aunt Carla scratcher her hair nervously and I turned to look at the rest for some sort of explanation.

"What is going on?"

"The doctor said that Ella would suffer from amnesia and wouldn't be able to remember some people and events."
