I buckled my seatbelts. The plane was going to takeoff any minute from now. It was finally time for me to go back home and fix things. Staying with Char had really been an eye opener for me. She had taught me a lot of things and now I was sure that I was willing to forgive and move on.

I grabbed the folder in front of me. I had read  through the contents like a hundred times already but it didn't change anything. It all felt surreal.

To: Mr James Hemsworth.
From: Mrs Tonia Brown.

Date: 22nd December, 2019.

Subject: Case of divorce.

I closed my eyes for a millisecond and I closed the folder holding the files. One was about withdrawing the cases I had made against Gabrielle and another was a case of divorce.

This was all for the best.

Home sweet home!

That's exactly what I would have never thought of saying but everything was going to fall in place soon and I couldn't wait. My first stop was going to be the Police Station then I'd go over to Beck's place to find my daughter.

I got into the car and I ordered my driver to take me straight to the cops and in no time, we were there.

"Ma'am are you sure your really want to do this?" The chief here asked me in the most polite tone since I had been feeding his bank account with cash on a daily.

I gave him an affirmative nod before plastering my signature boss smile on my face. "Of course officer. Do you have any problem with that?"

He shook his head immediately. "No madam. I'll make sure he's available to be bailed out as soon as possible."

"Oh there's no need for that." I threw an envelope on the table and his eyes grew wide. "I just want to see him, I didn't say you should release him. I'm below the Law."

He grinned happily. "Yes madam you're very correct."

I cleared my throat, I was about to do the one thing that I swore to never do since James got arrested. "I want to see James right now."

"Are you sure about that?"

"I said what I said officer."

He placed a call across to the men in charge and I quickly sent a text to Paul and Lorraine. If I was going to do this, I needed to come clean about it.

"Madam what would you like to have. Tea, Coffee or Juice?"

"I'm go-"

"Tonia." I heard someone whisper and I clenched my fists.

Come on, Tonia you can do this!

I held my shoulders high and repaired my smile. "Hello James. Fancy seeing you here." I turned to the officers. "Please excuse us."

"My men will be outside if you need them." They all scurried out of the room and I stood up.

"Please have a seat." He stared at me for a while and I scoffed. "Don't be scared, I didn't put thorns there." He sat down and I cat-walked to the water dispenser to get myself a cup of water. "Water?"

"No I'm if-"

I chuckled. "Hell must have been so hot, I can only imagine."

"Tonia what do you want?"

I let out a sardonic laugh and he stared at me like I had grown two heads. "It's Mrs Brown to you."

"Well we're still married!"

I threw the divorce papers at him. "Are you sure about that?"

"What are these papers for?"

"The one and only James Hemsworth can't even read anymore." I smiled. "Those are divorce papers my dear ex husband." I threw a pen at him. "Sign!"

He smirked. "And why would I do that?"

"Because I hold the key to your release from prison and might I add that in my hands, is that key." I lied.

He shifted uncomfortably in his seat and I smirk. He signed them and I give him a thumbs up.

"I heard that you tagged me as a rapist." He grinned wickedly. "When you did enjoy it."

I gave him a resounding slap that had blood coming out from his nose.

"How dare you James! You raped me, ruined my life and you still have the audacity to talk to me in that manner with no remorse."

He wiped his nose clean, his eyes shooting daggers at me. "Oh come on Tonia. You were so naive. You condemn me but you were the one who married me immediately your husband died."

I shook my head in amusement. "All that was part of the plan and you fell for it. Now who's the naive one?" I pouted when I saw that he bowed his head in shame. "Oh come on big man, no need to be shy."

"Tonia why are you doing this? We had something special." He begged and I scoffed.

"Keyword, had and that's past tense. You're only paying for you sins Mr Hemsworth. It's only fair that you get your share of all the pain that you've inflicted on me, my daughter and everyone."

"We can make this work Tonia. Please get me out of here."

"Where's Gabrielle now that you need her?" I place my hands on my chin. "Oh the last time I checked, She was in the Bahamas with her new found lover." I chuckled. "But you know what? Karma is real and she'll get her own share too." I laugh out loudly.

"Tonia I'm begging you."

"Do you know who Ella is?" I ask with a straight face but he avoided my stare. "James I'm talking to you."

I walked over to him and I lifted his chin up. "Ella is your daughter. Calculate the years. You emotionally and physically abused your own child."

His eyes widened and I snort. "Tonia what do you mean?"

"Yes James. Ella is your daughter."

"And you never told me?!"

"What difference was it going to make?" I shrugged my shoulders. "You're a monster after all. You killed my husband, tried to steal my properties. Oh James you know you're a monster."

"Please forgive me. Think of our child." He knelt down, his hands gripping my legs.

"You mean my child." I grab my handbag from the table and I walk to the door to open it and the officers came in immediately. "By the way Mr James Hemsworth this will the last time you'll see me here but don't worry, I forgive you."

"Tonia please help me! Please Tonia."

"Like I said it's Mrs Brown to you. Did I forget to mention that you stink of absolute poverty? Oh well good luck with your court hearing." I walk away ignoring his cries.

With a smile on my face I stop and turn around.  "I hope you know you lost."
