Katie's POV

"Uh, Hi mom." I say, covering myself.

She looks shocked and shakes her head. "Katie Mary Campbell! I am so disappointed. Get dressed and come down stairs now!" I look at Ash as my mom leaves.

We get dressed and I tell Ash to stay in my room. I head downstairs and my mother glares at me, screaming, "I did not raise you to be gay. This is unacceptable. I demand you to break up with her right now. In front of me. Then you will block and delete her number. Then you will swear to God you will never see that filth of a f**got again," (This hurt me so much to write because this was my nightmare before coming out.)

"I will do no such thing mother! I love her and I will never stop seeing her. If you have an issue, I will leave and you will never see me again." Mother slaps me. Ow.

"That is no way to speak to your mother. You will listen to me or burn in h*ll forever."

I rush upstairs to see Ash's hurt eyes staring at me. I push past her and grab a bog, packing. "Can I stay with you for the night Ash? At least until I can get a steady job and and apartment or something?"

Ash nods and we leave immediately, not looking back.

Ash's POV- going back to the fight

I sneak out of Katie's room and to the top of the stairs I hear Katie's mother say that I am a f**got. Then her slapping her daughter. I hear only a few words but I could tell that Katie was angry when she rushes upstairs and looks at me. She is gonna stay with me forever. I mean at least until she can get a job. heh. Maybe we can get a place together I mean, there is only 2 months left until we are free from high school. I wish
