Chapter 12

Ash's POV

We head to the hospital, following the ambulance. When we arrived, Katie is already out of sight. We talked to the nurse and she said, "Katie has lost a lot of blood, they are working on her now. I don't have a current update on her. The doctor will come get you when she can have visitors."

I sigh. I feel my eyes full of with tears and I start to sob. I feel my moms arms wrap around me and I just pull her to the ground. I probably stay there for close to half an hour before I hear my name called, "Ash?"

"Yes?"

"Katie is stable and can have visitors. We don't know when she is going to wake up." I nod. "I'll show you to her room now."

My mom and I follow the doctor to Katie's room. I pull one of the chairs up to Katie and hold her hand. "Hey mom? Can you go get some water please?"

I look up and my mom nods. I feel tears slowly fall down my cheeks. "Please Katie, just wake up. Say something. Please Katie, I love you so much. Stay with me."

I feel her squeeze my hand and I look up. There staring at me are Katie's eyes. I stop crying and wipe my face. "KATIE!" I practically yell. I hug her gently. "How are you feeling?"

"Tired. I feel like crap. What happened?" She looks down at her arm. "Oh crap"

The doctor comes in along with a therapist. They figure out what happened and just want to keep Katie of a 24 hour watch.

(Time skip cause I'm lazy)

Katie gets dressed and we check her out. Upon getting home we move her things to my room because she is going to stay in my room for a bit.

"Katie?" I ask

"Hm?" She replies.

"What happened?" We hadn't really talked about everything that happened yet besides with the doctor.

"I-," she looks at me. "I didn't mean to. I know I promised you I wouldn't but with my mom and getting kicked out. They were just supposed to be shallow. Then it got out of hand and I'm sorry." She starts crying.

I say, "oh baby, I'm sorry. It's okay. I get it."
