Girls Can Like Girls

Chapter 10

A/N- Sorry an update took so long. I've had major writers block and just didn't know how to continue this story. I started writing this before the last chapter even came out. I've now came up with a few ideas now.

Katie's POV

After Ash and I leave, we head over to our her house. It's a lot larger than mine. Ash explains to her mom everything and she agrees to let me stay for a bit. After I settle in, I start searching for a job. "Sorry for this, I didn't want to have to rely on others for help." I say.

"It's fine. My mom loves you. Also, did I hear you say that you love me at your house?" Ash asks.

"Uh~ I guess I did," I say quietly, blushing.

"I love you too."

I stand there in shock and after a second I hug Ash. She jumps slightly, seems like I caught her off guard. I giggle. Standing on my tippy toes, I kiss Ash slightly. 

"GIRLS," Ash's mom calls. We head downstairs to see her dad sitting at the table. "Dinner is ready," he says.

I sit down and wait for the food as Ash heads to the kitchen to help her mom.  Ash comes back out in a minute with a bowl in her hands. Potatoes. Her mom follows behind with some meat. Steak. We eat dinner and make some small talk. David, Ash's dad, is really nice. He's funny and makes tons of jokes. After we are done, I put my dishes next to the sink and head back upstairs. Ash follows me and we decide to watch a movie. Ash showers while I pick a movie, Lilo and Stitch. 

Ash's POV

After showering I see that Katie had picked a movie, Lilo and Stitch. Little did Katie know, its my favorite movie ever. We cuddle on the bed as I hit the play button. About halfway through the movie I see Katie yawn. She is gonna fall asleep before this movie ends. I think to myself. Minutes later, Katie's head hit my shoulder and falls asleep. I turn off the TV and cover her. I lay down and Katie curls up to me, laying her head against my chest and her legs tangled with mine.
