One more day left till work starts. I don't know whether I should feel happy nor sad, it's a little bit of both actually. First, I finally got a job and hopefully it's permanent. I mean, by looking at the company I've been offered to? Who doesn't know, Fly Extravagant(FEX), one of the biggest and well-known company?

They've been supplying great and unique ideas for most airplanes in Asia. And now, they're starting a new business, trying to go further in the aviation field, creating their own airline just like the Malaysian Airlines, Virgin Air and etc.

Honestly, I never thought they would hire me, plenty of other highly educated and talented people out there and they chose me instead. I should be thankful for the opportunity though not complain about it.

But.. Him. Argh.

I just couldn't. Ugh. Okay calm down, I need to chill, he isn't always going to be there all the time. In fact, I don't have to see him often I bet he'll be as busy as a bee attending important meetings, traveling all over the place for work cause and he seems like an irresponsible guy, the only thing he's good at is finishing off parents's wealth and showing off his richness. I'm pretty sure he's quite a womanizer himself, fishing women with his cornucopia of money.

Enough talking about that selfish bloke. When the only thing I should be thinking about is what am I going to wear for my very first day of work? Hmm.

She started rummaging through her wardrobe, throwing bundle of blouses and dresses on her queen sized bed looking for suitable and nice clothes to wear the next morning. You never get a second chance to make a good first impression right?

There's nothing nice and decent to wear for tomorrow! She threw herself on the bed piled up with clothes, feeling down with absolutely nothing to wear. She stared blankly at the ceiling.

*Beep*
Suddenly, her phone vibrated rapidly like an earthquake was about to happen soon. She unlocked her phone just by using her thumbprint, very secured no one can simply gain access to her phone without permission.

### 1 New Message From Ain###
As Salam babe, It's been ancient. I'm on my way to your place now, go and get dressed! I won't take 'No' for an answer k bye

Hmm, this girl is such a pain in the ass. But okay, I need to see her too! So many things to catch up and I kinda miss my bestfriend.

Myra put on whatever she sees that was on top of the pile of clothes. Not later than that, she heard a honk.

She pulled the car door open and slide in, " Wow, you must really missed me huh? You drove here in less than 5 minutes, I can even hear your tyre screeching on your way here. I'm touched" while placing her hand on her chest.

Ain replied sarcastically, "Wa'alaikum salam sister, not at all. I can sense that you actually wanted to see me, I'm a telepath just so you know".

Myra rolled her eyes mockingly. "So where are we heading? I feel like having coffee and a slice of Salted Caramel cake."

Ain placed her left hand on Myra's tummy in respond to her cravings, "How many months?"

"Such a female dog you are and I don't know why I still love you though"

How can I live without Ain? She can be annoying and irritating at times, but that's what makes her special. We're a total opposite, she's the fun and happy go lucky type while I'm serious and grumpy. Meeting her was the greatest gift, I am thankful for that. We became friends when we were in high school, she was my desk-mate and my partner in crime. We used to climb out the school's back gate just to fulfill our cravings for KFC and Burger King and then climbed back in. So much trouble for food eh?

She has always been there for me and likewise. Although she's always smiling, teasing and making people laugh, I know that's just a mask hiding her sorrows. She had gone through a lot, she lost the both of her parents in a war. Her parents were doctors, volunteering in an organization called 'Help&Aid'. They were sent to Afghanistan back then. They died while treating the victims when suddenly the hospital they were in was bombed. It was a rough time for her especially she was only 13 years of age during that incident, still young and gullible.

She lives with her grandmother from then, about 10 blocks away from my home. Easier for us to hang out during school days. Now we barely meet since the both of us started studying abroad which then leads to working.

Upon reaching the coffee shop, our all time favourite spot to catch up, The Coffee Bean, we took a seat indoor as we both hated the cigarette smokes.

"So Myra, Anything new to feed my ears?" Ain began a topic to start the catching up session. She blew the surface of the Hazelnut Coffee slowly thus taking a sip.

"I got a job. And Razlan. He--" Before I could finish off my sentence, she interrupted immediately.

"Who is Razlan? Is he your boyfriend? How did you meet him? Why didn't you tell me all this earlier!!! There are things called phone and WhatsApp you know!" She slammed the table with her hand as a sign of protest.

Haih, this girl. Always jumps to the conclusion. She needs to learn how to chill. I shook my head in disbelief.

"Gosh, Ain! Can you let me finish?" I said while looking over the room. All eyes were staring at us, because of Ain's dramatic action. Only then she nodded and started focusing on the story.

During the story telling time, I saw her making faces. Mostly it was a cheeky one.

"Yeah. That's about it." I ended the story finally.

"Do you want to know what I think?" Said Ain, giving a smirk.

Myra gave a 'What' face, her eyebrows curved upwards.

"You're sooo gonna marry him someday, Myra. Mark my words"
