"Myra adores you so much, she talks about you like all the time!"
She secretly likes me?
Days have gone by, Razlan still can't seemed to get the recent news out of his head. Nevertheless, the uncertainty of how truthful it might be did give him to be completely at sixes and sevens. Despite so many things to think about, mostly work related since his company's proposals and tenders were declined drastically from the regular companies they worked with. Perhaps maybe someone was trying to sabotage him. It really was getting out of hand and maddening by the second. Even his office was a total wreck. Files, design plans scattered all over his table which in need of his attention for improvements and fixing everything there was to be fixed.
He released a heavy sigh whilst leaning back on his leather black seat with his hands behind his head and closed his eyes to rest for a while. The image of Myra during their sudden meeting at the cafe flashed into his mind. How they gazed deeply into each other sinking into the moment. Her eyes, her face just everything about her.. Allah definitely has created a beautiful creation, without a flaw and without any imperfections. She's perfect to his eyes though he knew it's wrong to stare at a non-mahram and he knew too at how badly he wanted her to be his. As cliché as it may sound but she's undeniably his wonderwall.
Not only Razlan, Myra too was pretty occupied with work. She barely has the time to eat and consumed only cups of coffee to keep her from dozing off of tiredness. She read an article about coffees once on the internet, they said that a cup of coffee a day can do wonders to the health, it helps to boost the immune systems, reduce diabetes, lowers the chance of getting Parkinson's disease and etc.
Since she was too busy to even get something to eat, she received a takeaway for lunch that magically appeared on her table when she got back from the loo. She took the package and started to examine it maybe there was a note attached together but nope. Her tummy was grumbling loudly since it has already passed her regular time to feed those noisy little creatures in there, it could be worms.. the thought of worms living inside her was rather disgusting. She immediately shook her head to stop imagining things far beyond.
*Knock Knock*
"Myra?" A manly voice was heard outside her door.
"Yes, come in" she replied wondering who could he be.
"Hey! Have you eaten yet?"
"Nope, I haven't why?"
"Oh good, would you mind accompanying me for lunch today?" Nadir said invitingly with a hopeful face.
Oh no. Not this again.. She gave him a weak smile figuring out how to decline his invitation in the politest way. Besides, someone was kind enough to buy her food. Whoever he or she was, that very thoughtful action really saved her a lot of time and from Nadir too if she might add.
"Hey Myr-- Eh! Nadir. You're here too? We're just about to have lunch. Come and join us"
Yippiee! Such a life saver, just in time to save my butt. She thought to herself, jumping out of joy in her very own mind.
She took the takeaway bag and wiggled them to Nadir's direction, indirectly saying no to his invitation.
"Here, I bought us some drinks as well. I don't want you to die from choking on food while you eat. I'd be lonely if you do.." Razlan said to her while handing a bottle of Iced Lemon Tea thus taking a seat in front of her.
Wooohh, he just made the boldest statement ever. Shockingly, she has never heard anything like that coming out from his mouth. Even so, she still managed to keep her cool from behaving like an idiot drooling over his statement.
