Lately, Razlan has been spending so much time with his mother. He decided to live with her again, and will only stay in his apartment on the weekends. That's because he didn't want to abandon his own home just like that. He felt that he should take care of his mother and accompany her while she's still around. After all, She's the only one he has left.

Razlan's POV

In a rush, I quickly buckled up my belt and buttoned my vest also fixed my tie in a correct position. I need to get to the office soon before it's too late! Before she comes to be precise.

I ran down the stairs, with my briefcase on my left hand and black blazer on the other. The only thing that was on my mind, to get to work as early as I could. I walked over to the key cabinet, searching for my car keys but there was no where to be found. I'm starting to get pissed, why now?

"Mama, have you seen my car keys?" I asked mum with full of hope that she knows where it was.

"Good morning dearie! Your car keys? Oh honey, you know it's always hanging on the key cabinet." Mum replied, her eyes stayed still, both hands occupied spreading the butter on a piece of wholemeal bread equally, then again with strawberry jam.

"But it's not here. Did you used my car yesterday?" This time I walked over to mum who was sitting on the dining chair, busy preparing breakfast.

Wow, that's heck lot of food. Scrambled eggs, bread and jam, and a plateful of nuggets and sausages. Is she having a feast? Only mother and I that lives here, this is too much it's going to a waste.

She shook her head, "Try checking in your pockets."

I transferred the coat I was holding to the other hand alongside with my briefcase and put my hand in my pockets, in search for the lost keys.

Oh. Lol silly me, it was in my pocket all this while. How can I not realize that? I took out the jingling keys and waved over to mum's, giving her a small giggle.

"I don't know why but lately you've been acting weird. Always leave for work hastily. What are you running after?" She said dissatisfied with my actions and got up from her chair and paced towards where I was standing while feeding me a piece of bread and jam. "At least have something to eat before you leave."

I munched the bread that mum has fed me while walking to my car. I bid my goodbye and drove off to work.

Surprisingly, the traffic today wasn't as congested as always. I can feel that today is going to be a great day, I just know it.

Mum was right. What am I running after? I usually am not as this excited to get to work. I always stall time and never rushed to the office unless if I have to.

Oh heart, what's going on in there? Give me a clue, as I am clueless. Maybe I need a 'How To Know if You're in Love' book for dummies.

Myra's POV

What took this bus so long? I've been waiting for the past 45 minutes and it still hasn't arrive yet. In less than 25 minutes, I need to reach the office!

10 minutes have passed by like the wind, still there was so sign of the bus. Sitting and getting back up from the bench has been a hobby of mine for the past hour. I'm starting to lose my patience.

A car suddenly decelerated and stopped right in front of the bus stop. Not giving the slightest care on who could that be, I ignored the car and kept my eyes on the road still waiting for the bus to arrive.

Well, the car was still there for almost 2 minutes. Of course I couldn't keep my chill anymore. Finally, the car's door was pushed open, I saw a man coming out from it and walked over to where I was sitting.

"Assalamualaikum " He said to me. Well, I think he's talking to me since I was the only one there. I controlled my eyes to prevent myself from looking at him, ignoring him as if he doesn't exist.

"Hey.." He said again.

Of course I ignored him again.

"Assalamualaikum.. Hi." There he said it again.

God. He doesn't get it does he? I sighed to myself still not looking at him.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" I answered. Took a quick glance at that man. I looked again, this time my eyes were glued to the sight of him.

OMG! Wh-what is he doing here!! My mouth was actually in the shape of an O. I couldn't believe my eyes, he's right in front of me this time.

If there was a heart monitor, it could have shown a flatline and of course the loud constant beeping sound with no breaks in between. I literally felt my heart jumped and ran out from my body.

"Erm. Hi." He sat down beside me and he gave me that smile again. Oh how I longed to see that one more time. His smile, leaving trails of straight white teeth, his stubbles that sprouted on his tight square jaw and his straight dark brown hair. I feel like running my hands through his soft hair.

"I don't think the bus is coming anytime soon. Since we're heading off to the same place, maybe you know.. Umm. We could.." He cleared his throat, " ..Go together? That's if you want.."

God, he's incredibly handsome.

I blinked my eyes in disbelief. The BOD wants to give me a lift? Wow, this is beyond bizarre. I monologued to myself.

"Err. It's okay Sir. I can wait a little while more.." I declined his offer politely.

"Eh, No. I insist. Work starts in 10 minutes anyway. Do you want your salary to be deducted? I don't think so."
