Synopsis:
Charity Crew has suppressed her feelings  for her childhood love and employee on her parents estate Ian Douglas for years. But when a sudden change in his affairs occurs she finally acts on her true feelings.
Grammar:
I didn't notice any grammar mistakes in this book. I give it a five out of five stars
on grammar.
Plot:
The Lady pursues was pretty slow in the middle around the chapters before Charity Crew runs away to Scotland. In addition, for a wattpad book, the chapters were really long which in general made for kind of  a slowing moving story. Other than that I have no negative comments about the plot. I give this book's plot four out of five stars.

Character Development:
All of the characters in this story were
complex, but the character arch I
enjoyed the most was Ian's. It was very entertaining to watch him gradually learn to except Charity and admit his feelings after suppressing them for so long. I give this book's character arch's five out of five stars.
Theme:
I really liked how the female protagonist was aware of her feelings for her love interest in the very beginning of the story. It really conveyed the message that when we're young before society forces certain standards upon us  we are able to express the true unfiltered version of  our opinions and emotions. In addition, Charity's choice to completely leave who her parents wanted her to marry was so courageous; Furthermore, communicating to the reader   ignoring  popular opinion and doing what you believe is right is sometimes necessary. I give this book's theme a five out of five stars.
Additional notes:
I loved that Charity Crew pursued  her love interest rather than the other way around like in most wattpad books. It was refreshing to see a female character who knew exactly what she wanted. I give this books plot four out of five stars.
Conclusion:
I give this book a 4.75 out of five. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes romances especially if you like Victorian age dramas. This book did have a couple of make out scenes and two private smut chapters. So if you like some heat in your romances it will satisfy you.
