Chapter Five

-Kallie-

I was backstage again, when there was a knock at the door. I stopped looking at myself in the mirror in shock that I actually just did that.

"Come... In," I say, confused. The door slowly opens, and I was surprised to see four very tall and muscular guys coming in. One had bright red hair. They all had goofy grins on their faces.

I know these guys from somewhere, I can feel it. But why would I? Wait a second...

"Yo-You're Five Seconds Of Summer." I say, standing up from my chair. I walked towards them, and their smiles deepened when I said it.

My sister has her room full of posters of this band. Whenever she is home (which is actually not that often), she always blares 'She Looks So Perfect' in her room so practically the whole town can hear it. Now, the entire band is standing right in front of my face. Why the hell are they here, out of all places?

"Yeah, we just stopped in this little place walking around town..." The guy with a blonde quiff and a lip ring at the corner of his mouth said, looking around the small room. I had to look up when he spoke; I am pretty much half his size. He had an Australian accent that was really hard to miss.

"You're singing is really good." The guy with the messy light brown hair blurts out from the corner. I saw that he was looking at me with nothing but a smile on his face. I smiled too, feeling my cheeks heat for the millionth time that day.

"T-Thank you..." I reply, in awe. I fiddle with my fingers, and look up to see him still smiling at me.

"Well, we haven't thoroughly introduced ourselves." The red-haired guy exclaimed in front of me. "Hi, I'm Michael."

He walks closer to me, until I realize that he is hugging me. I hug him back, startled. Does he do this to all of his 'fans'? It feels weird to hug a stranger.

"I'm Calum." A guy with darker skin and looks kind of Asian said. He came to hug me, and I saw that he had traces of blonde in his dark brown hair. I think that he is Aria's favorite; I remember that she ran around the house screaming when she saw the first picture of him with his blonde highlights. That was a great day.

"Luke," The blonde-quiffed guy said and hugged me too. I had to stand on my tip-toes to do it, earning a laugh from all of them. God, he is so tall in real life!

"Ashton, Ashton Irwin." The last guy says, giggles, and goes in for a hug. His muscular arms wrapped around my whole body, and I let my head sink into his chest. We stayed there for a while, taking it all in. I had to admit; it felt good. I felt protected. My heart is beating out of my chest.

"So, do you live around here?" Ashton asks me, looking down at my face after he pulled away.

"Yeah, just outside town." I smile. He kept staring at me, making me blush, again.

Luke and Michael wave their hands in front of Ashton's face. "Hello. Earth to Ashton!" Michael laughs, teasing him. I laugh along with them.

"So do you play often?" Calum asks me, leaning on a black storage bin.

"Yeah! A-All the time." I shout, but immediately regret it. That was a complete lie. My heart beats faster and faster until I feel like it's going to burst.

"We should come and see you again. When is your next show?" Luke asks.

Crap.

"Well, I think its next Tuesday, but I don't really know yet. I could tell you later maybe?" I say.
