The bell rings, and I---
Wait, the bell is ringing?! No shiz!
I don't have to even glance at a clock to realise the danger of the situation.
"Wake up, girls!" I shook all of them who were still sound asleep, shooking them so hard their brains might ooze out, "Wake up! This isn't a damned drill! It's 7.30 a.m., women!"
All of their bodies shot up in unison, puffy faces showing horror. Under 5.46 seconds we were all desperately snatching away our towels, survival skills snatched, humanity snatched, wigs snatched and sprinting to the toilet, not wasting even a second.
Not long after, we finish off cleaning up, shower and all, and sprint again to our room, hair flailing crazily Medusa sunbae-nim would be proud and flip-flops flapping through the corridor like our lives depended on it. Because it did, at one point.
"Okay girls," I stick onto the door once we all get in, breathing heavily and hair in different angles of struggling to hold onto my head, "It's only 7.45 a.m. and that's enough time for changing."
We all calm down a bit thanks to that. Now, we went from flopping narwhals rushing to flopping narwhals dying. Thanks, bell. You make everything seem like something to panic about.
Chaeyoung and Lisa, ever the fashionistas, begin coordinating their outfits, from color to enhancing their look with make-up touches and taking in consideration of what mood they're going for today.
Me and Yeji, ever the fashion-no-stars, look at each other with knowing looks in our eyes. We'll put on anything that looks comfortable and practical enough for a class in the last 5 minutes. It'll probably take us less than 1 minute, actually. No style points for us.

8.30 a.m.
-Sunday a.m. prep class-"Trust me when I say I won't tell anyone, I repeat, anyone, about Kookie." Chaeyoung squeezes my hand and lets go as we approached our respected seats, my face still showing concern. I was still embarrased by our talk last night, so much until I was blanket kicking all night, honestly. But if there was anyone I could trust, it'd be my girls.
Thankfully, our seating positions are still beside each other. Right from the start, Sterling rocks. To my right, Park Chaeyoung. In front of me, we have Aisha, also one of my closest and craziest friends (when you're friends with me, I doubt you cling on to sanity). Behind me, there's Park Jihyo, the school's social butterfly a.k.a everyone's best friend.
Oop, almost forgot to mention it. To my left, the window. A stunning view of Lake Seren, the school's astronomy tower and the big blue sky above.
Don't blame me if I doze off during history. I've got a wall in front (*evil laugh*), a fantastic view, and two non-snitchers a.k.a besties all around my zone.
Don't worry, I'm dilligent enough. I think.
My bag falls with a thump and I sigh. Homework galore. Chaeyoung doesn't seem to be in a better state than me, seeing that her bag is all bulky. We're both gonna be pretty beat...
5 minutes later...
"Haven't you noticed anything?" I said to Chaeyoung after a long silence.
Everyone was talking and discussing, so the class was in an okay atmosphere to talk in speaking volume.
"What?" She twirls her pen around, clearly bored to death by homework.
