The War had just ended and everyone's lives were back to being normal (for those who didn't participate in it. There was no more a Statue of Secrecy, muggles knew the presence of wizards and were absolutely okay with it, at least the majority of them. Seeing wizards and witches perform simple spells, such as Accio, was quite a common phenomenon. Education and jobs were becoming diverse, teaching all sorts of wizardry discoveries that could be used by the simplest of muggles!

An outsider might wonder that the War had already ended, marking Voldemort's demise, hence the survivors should celebrate. Cherish every moment of their lives. Furthermore, ex-death eaters and wizards with questionable character who weren't charged with crimes should be grateful, but nothing was ever this simple.

War. At what cost did they win the war? Even after putting morality above everything else, with confidence on your side, there were casualties. People died protecting the ones they love, like Nymphadora and Lupin. The ones who were killed were remembered, but the ones who were alive weren't living at all. The War had taken a toll on them and they had lost a piece of themselves. It may be several for the Golden Trio.

The Malfoys who took pride in their bloodline were now ashamed of it. The Lovegoods who were known for their out-of-the-box mindset had unwillingly sobered down. Harry Potter, who was seen as a symbol of hope- The Boy Who Lived, had become hopeless. Weasleys, known for love and comfort had an indescribable amount of pain left within them. 

The War had ended, but a journey of their misery had just begun. For, they did have to deal with the aftereffects of a large-scale war. They needed hope and love, more now than ever.
