Fast forward a few months, and everyone settled into their own homes. Draco was residing at the professor's dormitory at Hogwarts, whereas Hermione had bought a small cottage by the riverside. Harry, Ginny and Ron were still living in the Burrow. On the other hand, Theo resided at Blaise's resort.
Many of them had made headlines in newspapers and magazines in such a short time. Hermione had qualified for the initial round for the position of Minister as she only had to win the elections. Blaise was awarded the 'Best Vacation Spot' of the year, and Theo was offered enticing offers by rival companies. His research in herbology had also gained recognition.
The Hollyhead Harpies have placed runner-up in the zonal quidditch competition. After continuously hovering over everyone, she managed to invite them to a dinner party. Since the Burrow was a little small, Ginny decided by herself to host the party at Hermione's abode.
"Hermione, they're going to be here soon. Hurry up!" Ginny practically skidded, levitating all the tables and chairs inside the house to the riverside garden.
"Honestly, Ginny. If you're hosting the party, do it at your place." Hermione sighed as she cross-checked all the items. "I have several errands to run."
The redhead carefully placed a vase at the display table, hoping it wouldn't break. "You wouldn't have time to party when you become Minister. Just help me out, would you?"
Hermione's house was beautiful, something out of a catalogue. One side of the house was facing the river. Rough stairs led down the bank, where one could easily enjoy the chilled water over your foot. Through the clear water, you could see beautiful fishes swimming across. Just a few miles away from her house was a miniature waterfall. Whenever it was sunny, one could see a faded rainbow over it.
The cottage was surrounded by a high brick wall delicately covered with vines. Often, many birds and butterflies flew in, relaxing on the vines and savouring water from the river. On the other side was a small garden with tomatoes and clover. On it, there was a pair of rocking chairs, where you could enjoy a book at dawn.
The house itself was pretty cosy. The largest room was allotted as a library, with dim lighting igniting the room and a study below the chandelier. There were heat charms in place. The common area was small, filled with bird seeds and three couches. Hermione had refused to show her kitchen and bedroom, claiming it was a mess right now. And by 'mess', she meant stationary lies diagonally instead of straight.
Suddenly, several birds started chirping, indicating the arrival of their guests - Blaise, Theo, Draco, Harry and Ron. A gentle breeze flew in, bringing clouds with them. Hermione hoped it wouldn't rain anytime soon.
Anyways, greetings were in order.

Ronald spoke, steak stuffed in his mouth, "Honestly, Mione. You're an amazing cook. Maybe give Nott a tip or two. That chap needs to learn the difference between dark and medium-rare."Theo had outgrown his Weasley-like eating habits. He harshly wiped his fingers off the nearest napkin, tearing it.
