Hermione growled, "Zabini, is this truly the most crucial discussion? Me being his girlfriend? Honestly, grow up." After the lightly berating, the novice Slytherin smacked Blaise across his head and continued, "Are you kidding me? Your assumption is without any reason!"
Blaise winced as he reached his palms to the point of contact and rubbed harshly. His eyes dilated impossibly with every word he stated, "Nott asserts to encounter someone every weekend and spend the entire day with them. It merely seems like a wildly couple-like thing to do. And you two seem very comfortable, so I put it together, I guess?"
Hermione snickered, "Of course, because we exist in an era where two distinct genders cannot be companions. Wonderful life." She pushed Blaise away with non-verbal hexes, leaving the young man astonished. Dusting the non-existent dirt on her robes, she strode inside, overlooking the presence of Zabini.
"We are definitely, definitely not together, Zabini. I'm too good for her. She needs a brooding, emotionally-unstable fellow who can match her unreasonable personality. Or maybe a girl?"
Hermione conjured a flask and chucked it at Theo. Playing quidditch enhanced his reflexes, so the chap evaded every attack Hermione sent toward him. The duo halted their dramatic actions when a lavender fog enveloped them. They saw the blonde slapping a hand over his face as chuckles threatened to escape his mouth. He exhaled, "What a couple-like thing to do." This ultimately sent Blaise to the edge as he began to have fits of laughter.
"You're an annoying piece of divination, Theodore!"
"I never thought I'd live to see the Golden Girl swear. And I'm not annoying. I don't remember dragging you to an overcrowded library to read for over an hour!"
"You can't seem to read for an hour? How did you even pass the previous grades?!"
"I never read willingly."
Blaise cleared his throat to stop this commotion as he pointed toward Draco. "Aren't we here for him?" Hearing this, Hermione turned a bashful shade of red, and Theo took a sudden interest in his feet. "Why was there a coloured fog enveloping him?"
Draco hesitantly claimed, "I'm a Meta wizard. Just got to know today."
Hermione opened her mouth excitedly and spoke out without thinking, "That's amazing! They're the rarest of wizards and possess the ultimate energy to access someone's emotions or even manipulate- ."
Theo put out his hands and violently shook them, "Bookworm! Stop! The three of us don't know anything about it." Meanwhile, Draco's attention was caught up, and his blonde hair started to shine. The aura behind him turned golden. It was almost like a magical fairytale. Blaise was again lost, "What's that?"
Hermione exclaimed, "I have a book here in my bag." She put her entire arm inside the extendable bag as she searched for the desired book. Delicately pulled out the book and announced the title to the boys. She cleared her throat as she read the meaningful content of the book.
"Metawizards. They are like a species of Metamorphagus but different and quite intense. They undergo changes post-teenage as a caterpillar goes into a cocoon to become a butterfly. At first, they experience mood swings and the prevalence of negative thoughts. These creatures go through internal pain that no spell or potion can control as of now. Skip. Skip. Yes, right here. This new ability creates a door in your conscious that acts as a barrier between your and others' emotions. After this pain, your body starts to signal all the emotions you feel by emitting or radiating a specific colour. There are many variants: Banshee, Seer, Healer and Veela. According to sources, there is a way to determine the variant -the spell 'vayree' spoken aloud. Blue, green, yellow and red light depicts banshee, seer, healer and veela, respectively."
Hermione wondered aloud, "I've read about its lineage history, and Malfoy's don't have any traces of mutation in them. Most likely-"
Draco held his breath as a tense maroon background developed.
" - There had been some mutations over the past generations. Now, the only thing that's left is..."
Hermione closed the book as she pointed her wand towards Malfoy and incanted the spell, "Vayree". Her wand began to glow a luminant dark red.
Malfoy - A Veela.
Theo and Blaise exclaimed, "You're a veela? No wonder you're possessive all the time." Meanwhile, Draco was muttering something incoherently.
"You saying something?"Draco squeezed his eyes shut as he exclaimed, "Granger's right about the historical lineage. I'm not a Malfoy."
