✨The Beauty After Midnight✨
Lady of the Night

Hair round and royal like the crown of a tree,
Brown eyes, brown skin, as beautiful as can be.
As she walks the streets, she turns heads, hair as big as someone with seven heads.

As the night falls, she can hardly be seen.
For she matches night as a lock and it's key.
Her lips moon in shape, Her features, too much to fit in a portrait or landscape.

Here she comes,
her golden hoops dangling off her ears,
dancing as the moon's rays gave it a kiss.
I watch her through a peek of my curtain as her passing, I will not miss.

She turned around,
her coffee brown eyes making contact with mine.
God had broken the mold in making something so divine.
The Black Queen,
The Charcoal Mistress,
The Lady of The Night.
