I gaped at the house from outside once we got out the cab. It was huge.

"Our stuff is already here. We sent it a few days ago." My dad said.

I didn't even answer. I didn't care I just couldn't believe we bought it.

"You coming in?" My mom asked.

I just shrugged and followed her inside.

We were about to walk into the living area when a lady in a maids dress came from out of no where.

"Hello there." She greeted, "I am Rolinda. I am the maid."

My mom looked at my dad. "We we didn't know the house came with a maid. The home agency didn't say-"

She was cut off.

"Generations of my family have worked here for years! I will work here as well there's no need to pay, I'll work for free." She insisted.

My parents stood astonished.

"Well alright then." I blurted into the conversation, "you're hired."

"Vera!" My mom whisper-shouted.

I rolled my eyes and went up the stairs looking for which room I wanted.
