We've been here for two weeks and the house isn't that exciting. I thought more things would happen, I don't know what I was hoping for.

It was about the middle of the night and I'm still awake. My record played slowly as I just laid there, uncomfortable.

I got up to go get a glass of water when I heard whispers. I knew it wasn't my parents they've never been up this late so it must be the maid.

I got closer and heard her talking to someone.

"Jack, master, you mustn't be here!" She whispered, "People live here now!"

"Relax, I have the same room as always I won't go anywhere. Just find me when it's safe to leave so I can go out."

"Yes sir." She whispered back monotonically.

"Alright then." The boy said as his business was over.

Forget the water, I think I need sleep. I didn't hear things right.
