Watashi No Hi (My Days)

~Christmas Special~

It's a week before Christmas and Christmas Eve.

Everyone from all around the town are already buying their presents for their loved ones and close people.

I'm still sitting in my bed thinking what gift should be able to bring atleast a smile to my friends an sisters faces.

While thinking this I slowly drift off to sleep.

Gladly I have about 2 weeks off of school. New Years is around Christmas aswell so I should find out if there will be a New Years firework festival going on or not.

Last time I didn't go because jasmine and Vanessa had to go out of town and go to their grandmother, so I lost interest of going last time.

But for sure ill go this year ...I hope

Time flys by and it's now about 3 and a half days away.

Us girls are at a pond feed ducks and fishes while jasmine blurts out.

"Oh did you know it's about 3 days away from Christmas Eve?"

My eyes grow wide and I turn to jasmine.

"You gotta be kidding me!?"
She laughs and shows me the date.
"Oh god I guess your right! That means ill need to get your gift soon too!"

We chuckle and exchange talks about gifts and money.

But I grown sadder and sadder as the days came closer to Christmas for that whenever I mention 'gifts'
Jasmine and Vanessa say "oh you really don't need to get me anything, I don't deserve any gifts" and they laugh it off or look guilty.

Of course y'all should get some presents, no matter what you should atleast get some from me.
I think to myself.

I always loved them two, so I became sad when they say they shouldn't get anything.

I'm at the store now with keke and jade, shopping for presents for my neighbor and loved one.

I'm getting the whole crew some little, but wonderful gifts for them while keke is getting some presents for her best friend Alyssa and her big sister, Abby.

I'm walking out of the store and I accidentally bump into someone.

"Oof"I say bluntly.

"Oh sorry there."
A sweet yet sour voice is heard, and it brings chills down my spin.

Looking back I see Sensei walking in the store.

'Ah..sensei does have a horrible memory -w-" '

Arriving home with keke and jade, we all package the presents and set them aside.

"Ah finally, were done." wiping the sweat away I stare gladly at the presents with name labels.

"I hope they like them..."

I get a call the night before Christmas from Shawn that he's planning on throwing a Christmas party around 5 and 6.

"Everyone will be coming so I think you should defiantly come as well shay~! Oh and don't be so surprised at what u get tomorrow! Oyasuminasai~."

And he hung up.

I arrive at the party with both keke and jade, they were also surprisingly invited.

Once I walk up the place Shawn pops out of nowhere at calls my name.

"Oh shay-chan~ so glad u made it!"

"Hehe who said I wouldn't come."

"Haha well here's y'all's first present, if y'all wanna switch then you can but once you change into them you can no longer change out of them~ see you inside!"
As Shawn hands us some white coated clothing of some sort, he leads us to where we change and he leaves.

Me, keke and jade all change but once were all out we were all surprise

"What the! Shawn!!!"

We say running to the living room.

"Shawn! why are we dressed like this-!"
Entering the living room I find everyone here wear some costumes too.

Seeing everyone, it all comes together that it's a costume party.
Jasmine and jay are Reindeers
Vane and Shawn are candy canes
Shane is Santa and jade is Santa's elf
Im the present and Vanessa is a Mistletoe
Keke is the snow fairy and Kevin is a snowman.

"Wow Shawn did you sew all these costumes?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! yup! impressed?"
Touching Shane's Santa clothes the fabric is very soft and warm.

"Eh why you touching me!?"
"The fabric is very good Shawn!"
"Hey! don't ignore my question!"

We all chuckle and the party starts with bunch of laughter and smiles.

"H-here Kevin.. if you don't like it, it's okai.."
"Mm same here, here..."
Kevin and keke exchange gifts with blushing faces. next to exchange was jasmine and jay, then Vanessa and vane an me and Shane.

"We all open the presents on the count of three okai?"

"Hai!"

"One..two.. three!"

Ripping paper is hear in the room and surprised faces are seen.

"Sugoi!!"

"Haha best Christmas ever!"

The party ends with happiness and smiles looking at jasmine and Vanessa, my heart then feels warm from their beautiful smiles.

"Hehe well merry Christmas guys, cya tomorrow."

"Hehe oh Shane you should walk her to her house."
Vanessa and jasmine elbow Shane closer to me.

"Eh it's okai guys he doesn't-"

"Ill go, you don't want me to?"
Shane looks at me in the eyes seriously.

"Huh, that not what I meant.."

"Then ill walk with you..."

They tell us bye and me and Shane walk me to my house.

Half way to my home and it's been nothing but quiet.
Shane clears his throat and asked.

"S-so did you like the party?"
Looking at him his face is a little red.

"Hehe yea, I never been to one like that before, or I never been to a party ever haha."
While I laugh, a coat is put around me.

"Y-you shouldn't be dressed like that only I can see you like this okai?"
Finally realizing, We had our costumes still on and Shane had put his Santa coat around my shoulders.

I blush for that the coat smells just like him.

"O-okai thanks.."

We arrive at my doorstep not to long.

"Well see you on New Years.."
"Hehe mm okai, meet me there at 7 straight.. don't be late."

He pats me on the head and I grab his hand and rub it against my cheek to warm it up.

"Hehe okai, see you soon."

Opening the door and I look back and Shane is watching me with a red face, I laugh and walk in.

"Good night shay!"

And I'm sorry for such a very long chapter, I go too crazy when it's a special chapter.

I was at a break point this year but gladly for the people around, they have comforted me till the end.
