Chapter 33: Strong Bonds

While Shane was helping jay get the children off him, I had asked Naoki a question, but only was replied with a cliff hanger answer.

"It's complicated..."
With these words, I became troubled of what he meant.
But I didn't think on trying to ask.

"Oh, umm okai..."

We sat through silence for a little before I was called.

"Shay-chan~!"
Shawn comes running toward me with open arms.

"Eh?"

He hugs me and I become shocked.

"Hey! get off me Baka!"

I try to pull him away but he doesn't budge.

"Sh-shawn!!!"
Shane says with rage.

"Oh hehe jelly that I'm hugging your girl shanie-kun?"
Shawn then laughs like a maniac, but in the next second he is punched in the face that he's sent flying across the park.

Everyone at the park: @-@"

"Haha! These people aren't to bad to hang with I guess."
The boy name Shio says.

"Nii-chan, we need to go home now. mommy is gonna be mad if we don't hurry."
The little girl says.

"Oh okai lets go then, bye bye people. come on kelly."
Shio calls for his sister to follow.

"Oh Wait please! ill walk y'all home. it's dangerous having kids like y'all walking alone.'
The two siblings look to each and sigh.

"Fine, come on old lady."

"💢 be right there. Ill be back guys cya."

"Be careful shay! be back soon!"
Everyone says while waving away.

A while later

"So it seems that y'all both are quite close I see."
I say to break the silence.

"Yea so what of it?"
Shio says without even looking at me, still holding onto his sister's hand.

"Uhh hehe well not most people who have siblings are close like you two. like me and my sister 'were' close before the accident ever happened."

"Accident? what accident?"
Kelly asked with a curious expression.

"Hehe well I should just tell y'all some other time maybe. First lets get y'all home safely."

By the time we make it to their home, I say my goodbyes and walk away.

"Wait!"
I look back after being called.

"Oh Shio? Do you need something?"
I see Shio running toward me.

"Yea come down here I need to tell you something."

I bend down for him to tell me something in my ear, but instead I feel a peck on my cheek.

"! wh-what?!"
I jump back with a red face, but Shio's face is much more brighter than mine.

"Well that was it, I hope to see you again deer lady!"

"💢 argh!"
After his words I walk back to the park in a bright, strawberry face.
