Chapter FOURTEEN

(Becca)

Tris's POV

"What ? Are you sure?? Did you check everywhere?!!!"

"Yes we did. We found this letter."

"I'm getting sick from these letters."

You'll never see her again!

I threw the paper away with tears in my eyes. No ! She can't be. Jason would kill me if I went back without her.

"I'm afraid today's body will be her's." Mira said with a shaking voice.

"No! Don't even think that. She will be safe and we'll get her. Not only that but we'll leave this fucking island too."

"Let's go back to the guys." Mason said. We went up to see everyone stressed. We sat in silence for what seemed an eternity not able to think of anything. The hotel was so calm you could hear a pin drop.

"I'm not sitting here doing nothing."

"Tris you can't do anything."

"We leave our friend more like our sister in the hands of a killer that could kill her in a blink of an eye?! No Mason. I'm not letting my friend die. I can't." I bursted out in tears. The girls engulfed me in a hug and we all cried.

"What's wrong girls?" Amara came in the lobby holding a tray.

"Becca was kidnapped by the murderer." I choked out.

"Oh poor girl." She said putting a hand on her mouth to muffle a sob.

Becca's POV

I woke up blindfolded, but I feel like I'm on a bed. Just when we had a hope to escape I had to get kidnapped. I was angry and wanted to cry. My hands hurt and my head was pounding.

"You're awake I see." That voice. I knew it but I can't remember where.

"What do you want?"

"I'll keep you here for the time being. I need company. You know I'm bored as hell alone."

"You murderer why did you kill all those people."

"Duh easy to get my revenge."

"From who?!"

"Tris and Mason."

"What ? Why you psycho!!" I got slapped.

"Shut up or I'll kill you bitch. And don't worry you won't be left alone, I'll bring you company." He laughed.

"Leave my friends alone!"

"I decide, not you!" He removed my blindfold and I gasped.

"You!"

Tris's POV

"We must not panic guys. We have to think well before acting. This fucker wants us to be frightened but we must show him that he's a weak and we're stronger. I'm sure he won't do anything to Becca." Mira said. Her words were comforting.

"She's right. We have to stay strong and together."

"What can we do ?" Anna asked.

"We'll go search for her." Theo said.

"How?" I asked him.

"We'll go camping! We'll search the whole island until we find a suspicious place."

"Great idea." Jacob said.

"Let's go pack essential things. I repeat girls essential!" Charlie said. I rolled my eyes.

We went to our rooms and we already have our luggages . I took a small bag and out some clothes, perfume, toothbrush and toothpaste, wipes, tissues, water bottles and some snacks . I hope I don't forget anything. I put the bag on my back and left to see they were all ready.

"Okay let's go!" We followed Mason down the hall and we exited the hotel.

"Amara we are going for a couple of hours and maybe days. Don't worry about us." I told her and we headed to the forest.

"We'll settle here. I found 5 tents in the basement. Me and Mira will take one. Anna and Jacob, Bella and Charlie, Tris and Mason, and Romy will have one." Theo said.

"I want to share the tent with Romy. And not with with mr rude smart ass." I said stubbornly.

"No. Tris you'll stay with me. But if Romy wants she can stay with us."

"Nope. Have fun you two." Romy smirked at me. Traitor.

"Great. Let's built the tents."

"You guys build them . We girls will make some snacks to up. I'm famished." Anna said.

The boys went to their work. We took the snacks we brought with us. We had hot dogs so we started making sandwiches. We put some lettuce, mustard and the hot dog. When the boys were done, they started a fire in the middle and we sat around it and eat. If Becca was with us, I would have been very happy right now, but I couldn't stop thinking about her.

"Relax." Mason whispered in my ear.

"I can't." I whispered back . He put an arm around me . Right now I needed the comfort so I let him. But I will not forgive him easily for earlier.

"Somebody tell us a story." Mira said.

"Listen then." Charlie started. " two girls were walking in a dark alley. The first said to the second that she needed to find a place to sleep since she was new. They found a hotel that looked old but cozy. They entered it and went to the receptionist. (R for receptionist, 1 for the first girl, 2 for the second)
R: good afternoon girls.
1,2: good afternoon.
1: I'm new here and I want a room.
R: I'm sorry but the only vacant room is room 252. This room is haunted because 103 years ago, the man that took it was killed by spirits.
1: I'm so in need of a room. It's okay I'll live this night.
R: okay here you go.
Girl 1 entered the room. It was dark inside. She sat on the bed and took off her shoes. Suddenly, the shower started running. Her heart started thumping. She didn't know what to do, so she took a wooden cane and entered the bathroom. She opened the curtains and screamed , the other person screamed too.
1: wtf !
?: what are you doing here ?
1: staying in ?

"Charlie we don't get where you're going with this story." Theo said.

"Yeah we better not hear the end of it." Mason laughed.

"You're just jealous of me." Charlie crossed his arms.

"It's okay baby I'm sure it's an amazing story." Bella said and kissed him. "We'll go sleep guys. Goodnight." She said yawning.

"Yeah we too." One bye one we entered the tents to have a sleep because tomorrow will be a tiring day.
