Chapter ELEVEN

(Charlie and Bella)

Tris's POV

"So? What did you find there ."

"Nothing much . There is no other book of the island besides the one we found few days ago ."

"Guys we've been here for 6 days . Tomorrow our families will be waiting for us . If we don't go back they surely will try to search for us ." Anna said . Thank god she was fine and unharmed . I hate seeing my friends hurt . They're my family .

"That's right . Maybe they'll send a search party and we will finally get away from here ." I said exited .

"But we are in the middle of the ocean . This island has no name . And searches may take months ." Mason said . Mr smart ass ass back .

"Thank you for encouraging us ." I said rolling my eyes .

"Tell us Mason is it your fiancé that you don't want to see ." Charlie said smirking. What ! I looked at Charlie with wide eyes .

"Oh Tris you are so eager to see your crush back right ." Mira said mirroring Charlie's smirk . Wait . I understood their game . Well I'm in .

"Oh yes I'm dying to see him . You know after my break up it's time we start fresh together ."

"What ?" Mason was getting angry . Oops. Mira and Charlie both looked surprised .

"I'm out." Mason left angrily.

"I knew you were playing a game. But why Mason didn't notice is strange." I said laughing.

"Because Mason has a fiancé for real ." Now it was my turn to fee anger.

"Mason has a f-fiancé?" I asked surprised.

"Yeah ." Charlie said rubbing his head .

"Fine ." I left them too. Why would I care anyway it's not like I like him or something. It's his life after all. So why am I angry ? I don't know.

These days I find my room the best place to relax . Although we cannot relax in our situation . I locked the door and put my earphones watching old videos of me and Blake . If only he didn't cheat on me . Every time I think of Blake my mind goes to Mason . I lived happy moments with Blake over the past years , but with Mason it's different now. I've getting really tired these days . It's because of my nightmares. I'll sleep a bit .

3 hours later .

I woke up to a knock on my door . I ignored it . I don't want to see any one right now . I was in a really bad mood .

"Tris open the door this instant ."

"Mira leave me alone ." Fine . I got up and opened the door returning to my bed . I laid down and put the cover over me .

"Tris we were joking okay !"

"About what ?" I asked frustrated.

"Mason doesn't have a fiancé ."

"WHAT ?" She looked guilty.

"He had a fiancé actually. As Charlie told me he had an arranged marriage to a girl . But before coming here they broke up . She loved someone else and he didn't love her ."

"Why did you say that he still has her ?"

"We wanted to see your reaction." She blushed . I rolled my eyes . I felt relieved. What ? I mean relieved for him because I hate the idea of arranged marriage.

"Mira I just want to get out of here ."

"Me too Tris me too . I missed the busy streets of LA ."

"Tris are you awake ?" Charlie came with a guilty face .

"Yes Charlie I am."

"I just wanted to apologize abou-"

"Apology accepted." I said laughing .

"Great ! Dinner is ready if you want to come." He said and left.

"Mira's my girlfriend now !" I jumped ip and down .

"Theo !!" We were playing truth or dare. Again. Theo finally spilled the beans . He asked Mira to be his girlfriend yesterday.

"I felt the connection between us. It's soon to say that I love her . But I really like her and I just wanted us to know each others more." That's cute. We looked at them awed. I spin the bottle.

"Jacob ." I said smirking. "Same question for you . What's there between you and Anna ?"

"Nothing." They said simultaneously. I smirked but dropped the topic .

"Tris. Truth or dare?" It was me and Charlie.

"Dare ." He had a mischievous look on his face . I instantly regretted my decision.

"I dare you to kiss Mason." We both glared at him.

"No I'm not ." I saw a hurt look on Mason's face but he masked it quickly.

"A dare is a dare." We stood up and our faces were inches apart . This wasn't my first kiss, but the excitement I was feeling was just like when I had my first kiss . And better than that too. I stared into his eyes while his eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips . Mason closed the gap and our lips touched. He kissed slowly and patiently as id savoring the taste of my lips . This kiss was nothing compared to my kisses with Blake . This was so much better and meaningful. We heard cheering and I broke the kiss panting for air.

"I-I.. ummm.." I was blushing. Mason was just looking at me with a smirk . Really! I rolled my eyes and sat on my place.

"So what do you want to do ? I'm bored ." Romy said.

"Guys do we have a serious matter here . We are in danger remember?" Becca said .

"We found nothing in the library. We lived depression and cried our hearts out. We saw people dead yet we couldn't do anything. What do you want us to do more ?" It was Anna.

"She's right . We have to make time pass." Jacob said .

"I'm going to walk on the beach." I told them.

"I'm coming with you ." Mason said .

"Mason . Tell me about you before coming here ." After a little walk, we sat on the sand talking.

"I was born in a poor family. My father was an employee while my mother didn't work . When I was little I dreamed that one day I'll be rich and make my parent's life easy. So I studies hard and fought my way to the top. Now I'm the richest bachelor in the US . I was engaged to Stella, a girl my mum saw good for me . We stayed engaged 4 months until I knew she was secretly going out with another guy." I widened my eyes.

"I didn't care . I talked to her and she said that her father forced her to marry me but she loved someone else . Since I didn't love her we had an agreement and broke the engagement. We are now good friends and I love her like a sister ." Interesting.

"My father helped a lot being the top man of the business world . He taught me many things and he used to help me in the little company I had. Now I have the biggest chain of companies in the world ."

"Your parents must be proud of you."

"Yes they are . But being in the business world taught me to be a cold person with a cold heart."

"I noticed that the first time we met." He just smiled .

"Let's go back in it's late." I nodded and we went back to our rooms.
