There was nothing better than feeling like the world still had some mercy on us. The best feeling in the world is when you go through a lot of difficulties, then meet a series of good moments. Good moments don't necessarily have to mean the times we laugh. It could mean the times we take a break from a series of heart breaking events. It could mean a second that we can use to breathe properly after being suffocated for so long, or it could mean being saved from a death threatening situation. In all cases, whetheryou notice it or not, your heart starts beating properly, and your whole body starts feeling free after being chained for so long.
"They don't know we are here yet. We saw them while looking through the window," Jin said and it made my eyes widen.
We can't miss them. It is our only chance of taking Jimin to safety.
Chung Ae was standing near a window, so he looked through it and said," The truck is passing by. We won't have enough time to run all the way back."
The moment he said that, my heart started thumping really hard. I ran as quick as I could to the window and opened it.
"Hey! We are here! We need help! Hey!" I shouted and soon enough, all four men were next to me, shouting through the window as well.
The area got so crowded and it felt like they were screaming staright into my ears. I let my arm out of the window and stayed waving as I screamed.
"Hey! Hey We are here!" We shouted.
The truck was passing by as we kept on screaming. One of the passengers spotted us and told the driver. The truck immediately stopped moving and the five of us got overly excited. We started shouting some "Yes"s and "Finally"s the moment the driver exited his truck.
"I'll lead him here. You guys should make sure to stay with Jimin until I come back," Namjoon said and we all nodded. He then darted outside the room and continued running until we couldn't hear his footsteps echo in the hall anymore. Taehyung, Jin, Chung Ae, and I looked outside the window and saw Namjoon approach the man. The moment they met, Namjoon took the man's hand in his and started shaking it. He kept on nodding his head as he shook the man's hand.
Namjoon let go of the man's hand and started talking to him and at a point he pointed at the window and the man looked at us. The moment he saw us, he nodded his head. Then Namjoon pointed at the car that they found and the man looked behind him then back at Namjoon. They talked for a while and then Namjoon shook his hand again and ran inside. The man headed back to his truck and sat inside. After two minutes or so, we found a panting Namjoon at our door.
"There is no space in their truck, but I convinced him that we will take our car and head right on their tail," He said.
"It's okay. As long as we can reach the emergency camps, then it doesn't matter what we ride," Jin said and Namjoon nodded at him.
