"What?" He asked me faintly, his posture straightening as he tried to divert all his senses into understanding what I had told him.

"The pipes. They are leaking and it's everywhere," I panted. My brain felt really pressured. Everything was going downhill and there was nothing for me to do. I was on the verge of losing someone so precious to me, someone whom I had always told myself that I'd give up my own life for. Now that that moment came, I felt powerless. At the end, I couldn't sacrifice my life for him, and it only made me feel worse.

"That's not good," he said," If we stay here for longer, the slightest move we can do can set this place on fire. That is, if we don't die from suffocation of course."

This is too much.

I jumped back to the door and tried to get a look at Taehyung whose head was already angled near the ceiling so he can make the most of the amounts of oxygen present around him. My hands formed into tightly clenched fists against the glass pane of the door. The feeling of uselessness and being powerless overwhelmed my heart, causing my chest to ache. I was a computer science major; I didn't know how to deal with such situations.

I found Chung Ae's face near mine, trying to get a view of Taehyung's situation.

"Okay, that's definitely not good," He said then ran off to the area he was searching in and proceeded searching even faster. The more time Chung Ae spent searching for the box, the more Taehyung's chances at survival became slim. It was only a matter of minutes until the only body part of Taehyung that was above the water were his lips which took the shape of a partially shut water to prevent the water from entering his mouth.

"Chung Ae, hurry up!" I shouted over with panic at him, causing his arms to tremble as he moved them around, throwing objects away from his view.

"Don't worry Taehyung. If I'm not wrong, the toolbox should be right about..." he said and searched really quickly and then suddenly shouted," Here!"

He pulled the toolbox out and moved through the equipment really quickly until he found the screwdriver. Once he found it, he ran as quickly as he could to the door and started unscrewing the first nail. The whole while my eyes would only travel from Taehyung to Chung Ae's hands and so on. The water rose to the ceiling completely and so Taehyung took his last breath and allowed himself to sink so he could go back down to the glass pane and see our progress. A small smile formed on his face when he saw Chung Ae working on the nails.

"Hold on Taehyung, I'm nearly done with the first one," Chung Ae let out as he tried to unscrew the nails as quickly as he possibly could. Beads of sweat were forming on Chung Ae's forehead as he tried to keep himself calm while unscrewing the nails.

I looked around me quickly, trying to think of a second plan. If that first plan didn't work out, we would have needed to do something quickly before Taehyung died in there.
