~Third Person P.O.V.~

Rose grabbed another cookie while Iggy sat on the stool right next to her, his pale blue eyes almost directly on her. "You sound really nice and pretty," he said to her. "I wish I could see what you really look like."

Her cheeks heated up. "I'm not that much to look at..." she said quietly.

"I'm sure that's not true," he said, making her blush even more. "Do you mind if I ask something about Solar?"

Her back stiffened at the name, but she soon relaxed, then nodded her head once. "Ask away. I don't mind."

"What powers does he have?" he asked.

"Um, he doesn't have as many as I do," she responded honestly. "He can see someone's future and past just by touching them, and just so you know, I can sometimes see the future, but unlike Solar, I see the future without needing to touch someone. And I don't have the whole past thing like he does. We've always been able to do those things. Solar can also stop or speed up time, but strangely, he can't speed it up."

"That's it?" Iggy raised an eyebrow.

"All that I know of." Then a question popped into her head, and out of curiosity, she asked, "How old are you, Iggy?"

"Fifteen," he replied. "So are Max and Fang. Nudge is thirteen. Gazzy is nine. And Angel is seven."

"Speaking of Fang, where is he?" She looked around with a slight frown on her face. "Did he leave?"

"No," Fang said, suddenly appearing on the stool beside Rose. "Still here." He gave her a sideways glance.

She opened her mouth to say something, but before a word left her lips, the sound of glass shattering was heard coming from the living room. Footsteps could be heard, and they were getting louder and closer to the kitchen. To her surprise, a little over five winged men with wolvish features entered the kitchen. Almost instantly, she jumped over the counter and started to fight them off.

While dealing with two Erasers, Fang yelled, "Iggy! Two o'clock!"

While Iggy threw a punch at an Eraser, Rose roundhound kicked an Eraser in the rib, and the sound of a rib cracking filled her ears. She punched it hard in the snout, and its head snapped to the side while backing away until it hit a wall. It slid down the wall, and it bowed its head, out cold.

She struggled to get the Eraser out the front door, and she didn't even notice that Max, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel all came to help with the fight.

Once all the Erasers were wounded and gone, Max shouted with a bloodied lip, "Report!"

"Here," Gazzy answered weakly. "My arm really hurts, but I'll survive."

"Same," Angel responded from beside Gazzy.

"I'm here with a few bruises and scratches, but I think I'll be okay," Nudge replied with pushing some of her hair behind her ear.

"Here with a hurt leg and a couple bruises and scratches, but I'm all good," Iggy said.

"Nothing I can't handle," Fang said.

"I knew we stayed too long," Max said to herself, then she said to the Flock, "We gotta get a move on. Now. Go pack a bag. Remember not to pack something we don't need."

Right when she finished talking, Dr. Martinez rushed over to them. "Is everyone okay?" she asked worriedly.

Max placed a hand on her mother's shoulder. "We have to get going, Mom. We've stayed here for too long." Before the woman could reply, Max wrapped her arounds around Dr. Martinez. "Be careful, okay? We'll come visit whenever we can."

Max's mother wrapped her arms around her daughter. "You and the rest of the Flock are the ones who need to be careful. And be safe."

Once the two pulled apart, Rose said without thinking, "Thank you. For everything. I really wish I could've stayed here sooner. Max is really lucky to have you."
