Marinette's Path to True Love

Chapter 10: The Return of Chat Blanc

At the Couffaine house boat, Luka and Marinette sit side by side, playing their guitars. Marinette tells Luka, "This guitar is beautiful Luka, if only I can play as beautifully." "It's fine Marinette, I'll keep teaching you!" Marinette gives Luka a kiss on the cheek.

Meanwhile, Tikki and Sass play inside Luka's guitar case. Tikki says, "Poor Plagg, he has to be alone while we get to see each other frequently." Sass replies, "That's true Tikki, especially in a lonely mansion, Plagg must be having a hard time." Then Tikki gets an idea. "Why don't we do something to cheer him up! But we'll have to keep it secret from our owners." Sass replies, "Hmm, I don't know if that's the wisest thing to do. If it's simple I guess, we can try."

Marinette opens the guitar case. "So what trouble are you two up to?" she teases. Tikki laughs nervously, "Oh nothing Marinette, just playing around, haha." Sass keeps quiet, while thinking this could have bad outcomes.

A few minutes later, Sass gets a pack of camembert from the Couffaine's kitchen. He asks Tikki, "So this is what you wanted?" "Yes Sass, it's perfect. Now we just need to send it to Plagg!" "How though? We can't get it there without being seen." "One of us will need to go there." So Tikki takes the pack of camembert to Plagg.

At Adrien's house, Tikki flies into Adrien's room. She surprises Plagg, "Hi Plagg!" Plagg becomes startled, "Tikki? What are you doing here? You're very lucky that Adrien is taking a shower, you could've been caught!" "I was just bringing you this pack of cheese. Sass and I were thinking you'd be alone while we get to meet up very frequently. So I just wanted to cheer you up!" "Well thanks I guess..." This surprise just makes Plagg sadder. Tikki says "bye" and leaves.

Plagg starts to feel very sad, that he was a lonely kwami. Tied in with his power of destruction, this amplifies the emotive signal to Hawk Moth. Gabriel senses the emotions, then tells Nathalie, "What is this? This is the most negative emotion I have ever felt! It's also very close by!" Gabriel then goes to his secret room, and transforms into Hawk Moth. An akuma lands on Plagg's camembert. Gabriel exclaims, "A Kwami! Nathalie, help me track it down right now!"

As Adrien walks out of the shower, he sees Plagg being akumatized. He quickly transforms into Chat Noir, so Plagg's location is not revealed. Hawk Moth realises his connection with the kwami is lost, but Plagg's emotions overpower Adrien's, transforming him into Chat Blanc....

Meanwhile, Tikki and Sass sense this, and realise they have screwed up. Tikki tells Marinette, "Marinette, we don't have time to explain, but we might have done something that got Plagg akumatized." Marinette exclaims, "Whaat?! Tikki how could you do that? And Sass, you are supposed to be the kwami of wisdom!" Luka tells Marinette, "It's ok Marinette, whatever it is, we need to be there," he holds her hand, "together."
