Isaac above

----------------------------------------------------------------

The next two weeks 3 years ago I was planning the funeral. After the funeral was done and everyone was at the reception, the only family I had left personally made the effort to come to me and tell me it was my fault my parents died and that I was dead to them.

Well that’s the story on why I have nothing left. Looking in the bag Isaacs mom left for me I came across a letter, opening it I knew just by looking at the letter it was from his mom and that she wasn’t coming back. The letter read:
“I can’t do life anymore, let alone take care of that beautiful, 2-year-old boy. His name is Isaac, he was born on the 7th of April 2022 and needs you to be his new mother. I wish I could keep him, but I know if I do, he will either end up dead or he will get involved with the wrong crowd. Please take care of my baby boy and give him the life he deserves.
Give him a kiss for me
              L.J. Mason

Looking at the black haired, blue eyed little baby boy in a blue baby grown I couldn’t help but wonder what my future awaits. I have no family

At that exact moment my best friends John Morgan and Alissa Morgan, and yes they have the same surname and yes they are married for a matter of fact they have a beautiful brunette, hazel eyed 3 year old daughter, Josephine; barged through my door, no they did not knock, this is their house just as much it is mine. Standing in front of me wide eyed and speechless, I decided to break the silence and speak up
“Someone left him at my front door,” I exclaim
and they understood, we spoke for a couple of hours about Isaac, and John being a lawyer in family resources proposed to help me get Isaac adopted and formally my son. Sending them fair-well I decided to put Isaac to bed and go to bed myself. The next day Alissa helped me buy all the baby necessities which I really appreciate.
