I walked around the busy streets thinking what could I eat. I went for some cold drinks and walked along a park.

A guy in his jet black motorcycle leather jacket, cargo pants, Balenciaga track sneakers and an X-lite carbon helmet stopped his ride in front of me.
He handed me a helmet for myself bago n'ya tinanggal yung kanya para makita ko ang mukha n'ya.
"Offened." Noah said. "Kanina pa ko naghihintay sa labas ng bahay n'yo tapos hindi mo man lang napansin." Ngumiti s'ya sa'kin bago ko kunin yung helmet na inabot n'ya.
Kita ko pa rin ang mga bakas ng pasa n'ya sa mukha. He even have some on his fist.
"Can I get your number?" He humbly requested. "Para naman hindi ako nag-aabang sa'yo."
I didn't have a second thought and grabbed my phone to give him my number. Sa totoo lang hindi ko rin kasi memorize since it's new. He took a picture of my screen displaying my number and I cared to ask him kung saan kami pupunta habang sinusuot ko yung helmet.
"Hmmm.." napapaisip na sabi n'ya. "May gusto ka bang puntahan?" tanong n'ya sa'kin.
"Wala naman." I answered as I made a room for myself in his ride.
"Ok...hold tight." Sabi n'ya bago n'ya iniharurot yung motor n'ya.
He brought me into a canal-side city park filled with colorful lights and relaxing plants.
Bumaba ako to enjoy the view while he sit at a side of his ride. He smiled at himself while looking at me enjoying the place like a kid.
Hindi pa kami nagtatagal pero sumakay na ulit s'ya sa motor n'ya.
"Dito ka lang muna. May bibilhin lang ako." Paalam n'ya na tinugunan ko lang naman.
Naglakad-lakad muna ako saglit at bumalik din naman s'ya agad. May hawak s'yang dalawang instant ramen at dalawang bote Welch's grape juice. Naalala ko naman bigla na binilhan ako ni Nickolas nito nung unang gabing magkita kami. Umupo kami sa may table malapit sa playground ng park.
"Dinamay lang kita kung sakaling Hindi ka pa kumakain. Hindi pa Kasi ako nag-dinner." Sabi n'ya habang binubuksan yung ramen n'ya na may laman nang mainit na tubig.
"Thanks." Sabi ko lang at binuksan na rin yung akin.
"Siguro naman hindi na susugod si Nickolas dito ngayon para gumawa ng gulo." Birong sabi ko na bigla na mang ikinaseryoso ng mukha ni Noah. Hindi s'ya sumagot at nagkibit-balikat.
"Ano nga bang meron bakit ang init ng dugo n'yo sa isa't-isa?" Tanong ko habang kumakain ng ramen ko.
"Hmmmm... it's a secret. Pero..." Bitin n'ya. "I'll tell you if you tell me your secret too."
"I do have a lot of secrets." Tugon ko. "What do you want to know?" I confidently ask. I don't know...bakit pakiramdam ko my secret's safe with him.
"What made you cry that night?" Napahinto ako sa pagkain at napatingin sa kanya dahil sa tanong na 'yon.
I awkwardly smile. Well I guess... I could tell Noah.
"I was hurt." I simply answered at tuloy sa pagkain.
"Of course you are." Sabi n'ya na halatang frustrated sa sagot ko. "Why?" He asked swaying his plastic forks like waiting for me to spill the tea.
"Because... My boyfriend got engaged to another woman." I did it. I told him the origin of my life's curse. The reason why I'm on where I am right now.
"You mean... Chanel's fiancé?" Confirmation n'ya na nasamid pa nga sa sinabi ko. Tumango ako para sumangayon.
"The heck?" He seemed really shocked while I afforded to smile.
"So now tell me...bakit lagi na lang kayo nagpapang-abot ni Nickolas?" nagmamadali kong binago ang topic para hindi na s'ya magtanong pa.
"He's my older brother. He's dead mad about his own existence... naghahanap lang s'ya ng masisisi. " Sabi n'ya na sobrang kinagulat na halos mabitawan ko yung tinidor na hawak ko.
"How?" I immediately asked.
"He's born out of his father's affair with my mom. Pero...inako s'ya ng step mom n'ya, Elizabeth Young, since she can't provide a son for her husband. Mom had me a year after she had him with her legal husband, my dad, Edward Kim." He answered. That fact shocked the hell out of me. "Mom wanted Nickolas with her pero, my dad will surely put him in hell kaya hinayaan na lang n'ya si Nickolas para sa kapakanan n'ya." He revealed.
"Does AIU knows that?" I asked since coach gave me a clue about them.
"Nope. I guess some of the professors who are trusted to protect us like Ms. Yoon, the school's head of the swimming team and Mr. Tan, the archery coach." He said at tuloy sa pagkain na parang Wala s'yang pinagkatiwalang family secret sa'kin.
"Is that also the reason why..." Hindi pa ko nakakapag tanong ulit, pinutol n'ya na ang sasabihin ko.
"I can't be a black wearer and be an AIU noble?" He asked as if alam n'ya na kung anong sasabihin ko.
"Yes." Sagot n'ya. "Primarily because Nickolas Cassian's father is the headmaster of the school and because my dad is from a different conglomerate." He said laughing as if it is not a serious thing.
Their parent's infidelity is not their fault but they're the ones who are suffering. Isn't the world unfair?
